• Phu Quoc Pearl Farm - 9:00 AM: The tour guide will arrive at your hotel to pick you up, or you can meet at the office if your hotel is outside Duong Dong Town. The tour begins with a visit to the southern part of the island, featuring many renowned attractions. The first stop is the Pearl Farm, showcasing exquisite and valuable pearl strands, including those cultivated and handcrafted by local artisans. Additionally, visitors can observe a live demonstration of pearl extraction from an oyster, offering a fascinating experience for those unfamiliar with the process.
• Sim Wine Production Facility Bay Gao - 9:30 AM: Departing from the Pearl Farm, the tour proceeds to the Sim Wine Factory, where locals produce Sim wine (Rose Myrtle Wine) from myrtle tree fruit. Here, visitors can sample various Sim wines, ranging from low to high alcohol content. If you enjoy the wine, you can purchase it at the store, as Sim wine is exclusively produced on Phu Quoc Island.
• Peppers in Phu Quoc chez Le Ho - The next stop is a Pepper Farm. Phu Quoc is renowned for its specialties, including Phu Quoc green pepper, which combines with the island’s soil to create a uniquely aromatic and appealing pepper, admired by both Vietnamese and international tourists.
• Ho Quoc Temple - 11:00 AM: The tour continues to Ho Quoc Pagoda, the largest Buddhist temple on Phu Quoc Island. This magnificent temple is situated at the base of a verdant mountain, facing the sea and the rising sun.
• Bai Tắm Sao - The tour then heads to Sao Beach, where visitors can enjoy lunch and partake in activities such as swimming, water sports (at personal expense), sunbathing, or collecting sea stars for photos.
• Phu Quoc Prison - 1:30 PM: Arriving at Phu Quoc Prison, the tour guide will share intriguing information about this historical site. Originally built by French colonialists to imprison Vietnamese people, it was known as Coconut Tree Prison in 1967. It was the largest detention center for communist soldiers in the South, holding over 32,000 prisoners. Visitors should be prepared for the experience, as the prison still contains artifacts and statues depicting the harsh conditions and brutal treatment of prisoners. (Currently closed for maintenance, with no official reopening date.)
• Nước mắm truyền thống Phú Quốc Huỳnh Khoa & Showroom sản phẩm (Huynh Khoa Fish Sauce Factory) - After leaving the prison, the tour proceeds to a fish sauce factory. Phu Quoc’s fish sauce production is as significant to Vietnam as olive oil is to Italy or champagne to France, being an artisanal and traditional product made with locally sourced natural ingredients.
• Tranh Stream - 2:30 PM: The tour moves to Tranh Stream waterfall, a must-visit spot for tourists in Duong Dong Town, Phu Quoc Island District. The 15 km long stream originates from Ham Ninh Mountain and flows through diverse forest terrain, creating stunning waterfalls. The white waterfalls cascading through the lush greenery form a picturesque scene. The name Tranh (picture) likely derives from the stream’s breathtaking beauty and surrounding landscape. Light trekking is available (no stopover during the rainy season from May to October).

Seafood here is affordable, freshly caught by fishermen and cooked on-site for visitors to enjoy. The tour concludes with a return to your hotel or the original meeting point around 5:00 PM.
