Additional Information
  • Guests must spend the night to tour the Bioluminescent Bay of Vieques (Puerto Mosquito); no transportation back to the main island after 6 pm.
  • The tour is recommended on a moonless night for the best experience.
  • Kayaks have a weight limit of 500 pounds.
  • Minimum age requirement for the tour is 5 years old.

After completing the reservation, you must notify us 24 hours before your tour to receive a full refund in case of cancellation. If the cancellation is made within 24 hours of the tour, the full charge for the activity will apply. However, if we cancel the activity, you will receive a full refund.

The experience was absolutely stunning, going to the bioluminescent bay is a must in Vieques. That aside, our guides Ricky and Angel were awesome, Ricky knew all the questions we had and encouraged us to make more, Angel was our Angel watching over us from the end of our group. Would 1000% do the tour with Aqua Sunset.

Jimmy and the rest of his team did a great job guiding us and providing us with great information about the bio-bat, the organisms in the water, the plants, and stars. He was also very patient and professional despite some of the kayakers not listing and making a lot of unnecessary noise/crashing into one another. Thank you so much!

Our guide was so well informed… very impressed with his overall knowledge of the Bio Bay, and especially his knowledge of the constellations!! We were underwhelmed at the limited luminescence in the bay. Perhaps a seasonal thing? I just expected it to be more impressive.
