Cool experience - Cool experience! Be sure to check the moon phase… you want a dark, clear sky! Tour guides were efficient and very informative! You will get wet. Wear shoes that can be easily removed.

Definitely a must see! - I highly recommend this tour. Our tour guides were great. They actually waited for our group (we were 8 minutes late at meeting spot) because we could not find transportation from Playa Negra. We were very grateful for that! The tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable and the experience itself is unlike anything else.

On a scale of one to ten total experience with this company and staff was 1,000 - Was definitely an awesome experience. The most important part of planning and executing our trip was the customer service experience. Highly recommend Angel when booking your tour super attentive and very knowledgeable. Also can’t forget to give a glowing review to our tour guides Rebeca and Myra. A wealth of knowledge on the BioBay and super fun to deal with.

Beautiful but Chatty - Don’t miss the bioluminescent bay, it is spectacular. Really enjoyed the nighttime kayak, hearing the frogs, the ocean waves and learned a lot. Only wish, we could have had 5 minutes of silence or so to just drink it all in, perhaps reflect internally. I’d suggest the guides work a quiet moment into the information sharing for those that need silence as well.

Ok, but not the best - It was OK. Not as bright as we had hoped, but there was a half moon. Would be great if you've never seen it before, but we've seen brighter.

Not for English speaking visitors - The biobay is definitely worth visiting. Do pick a new moon (no moon) period so the biofluorescence will be much more visible and glowing! For this tour, I appreciate the two guides ensured our safety. However, while I chose an "English guide" when I paid, the two guides spoke Spanish (to the rest of the group) for 95% of the time. Me and another English speaking girl were left unattended for around 1 hour in the bay. The guides were not aware of the time that I needed to ask what time we were returning. We ended up returning to the pick up spot 20 minutes late. Overall, after this tour, I still know minimal about the biofluorescent bay which I am very disappointed about. I will not recommend this tour to visitors who don't speak Spanish.

Do not book - We arrived at ferry 5 hours early and were told we could not go to island, and could not get a refund. Absolutely do not book and would not recommend.
