Stunning Museum/Art Gallery - Stunning place. Star attraction is Klimt "The Kiss" but they have so much more of his work from a later period than the relatively short "Golden" period. They are just fabulous.

Amazing Palace and art museum in Vienna! - One of the best art museums in Vienna. This is a self-guided tour and you really need to be there early. They WON'T let you in if you miss your time. Wide range of art work including Van Goughs and home of the best Klimpt pieces including "The Kiss". Takes a few hours to tour plus the grounds are free to wander around.

Good tour - A well-guided tour. The guide is Austrian and that makes a difference. She speaks passionately and realistically.

Sublime art, but less generous than Schönbrunn and Hofburg - The Upper Belvedere is a museum of great interest, an essential stop for anyone who wants to admire the masterpieces of Klimt (the famous Kiss of Klimt), Viennese art and more. The exterior is no exception: the gardens are manicured, elegant and offer a perfect setting for the Baroque palace. I do not award 5 stars because, unlike Schönbrunn and the Hofburg, the entrance fee does not include an audio guide. Having to pay a supplement to get an explanation of the masterpieces penalizes the overall experience, which without the information support is less engaging than other imperial sites. A real shame for a museum of this level.

A little disappointing - Very crowded despite the staggered entrances. The works on display are interesting, but the Leopold is better. Klimt's Kiss is a little inflated. Expensive ticket.

Very unpleasant experience - We visited the Belvedere Museum recently. It was simply impossible to admire Klimt’s work, mainly in front of the crowd of people photographing themselves in front of the paintings. It would be enough for the museum to completely prohibit the taking of photos for this practice to stop. It is unbearable to see these people posing for several minutes in front of a painting, disregarding other visitors. I do not recommend anyone else to visit this museum. If you want to admire Klimt's works, you have a better online experience!

An epic organization - Deplorable organization. Take a ticket with a precise time, queue in the cold on time to be told that it was too early, see queues forming with people who booked for later than you but still pass... anyway, ticket for 4:15 pm... we could not enter before 5:00 pm and again, because we refused to leave the queue as the employees asked... (for the record, it makes Once inside, everything is fine but the experience is totally ruined by this disorganization
