Great 2 days with Max in Switzerland - We did both the day tour and the Danube Valley. Max was super great, down to earth, and super kind. Amazing to have a locals perspective that feels like your friend giving you a tour. He gave us great recommendations for things we want to do, eat, see for the remainder of the days we were in Vienna. he was very flexible with our needs, and knowledgeable about the city and surrounding areas. Wonderful time in Vienna & Austria - We did 3 amazing tours, two with Max (classic Vienna tour & Danube valley) & one with Peter (Schönbrunn Palace). Firstly the transportation was fantastic, the Mercedes van had a panoramic roof which allowed us into the centre of Vienna without having to leave the vehicle (which was great when the weather was bad). We had a top of the range S-class for the Danube valley tour, which was hands down the best touring vehicle I’ve ever been in (& I have done countless private tours in Europe) . Secondly both our guides were wonderful hosts. Max might be one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, he pushed around our 15 month old in the stroller without asking & even carried him to the top of Dürnstein Castle. My family really felt like VIPs, and this enhanced our overall experience. Max was also an excellent driver, which provides reassurance to young families, whilst also knowing so much about the areas we visited. Plus his photography skills are fantastic. We did Schönbrunn Palace with Peter, and he explained the vast palace complex so succinctly & comprehensively. I noticed other tourists looking over enviably in our direction as Peter explained the different rooms & their meanings, but without overwhelming us with information. He has a real passion for Austria & its history, and it was a privilege to spend time with him, Overall this is an excellent family company where people come as tourists/guests but leave as friends. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Excellent tour and professional guide! - Our tour guide Maximilian was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. We were a private group of three couples and had a fantastic time. I highly recommend the tour and Max.

The city tour with Peter is amazing 👌🏻 - We had a great city tour in Vienna with Peter Scheiber. We have already been on a few city tours with other people in other places and they were rather boring and you didn't listen very carefully... The city tour through Vienna with Peter was really great. He told the story in a relaxed manner and with a lot of humor. You automatically listened because it wasn't so monotonous but was fun. We really enjoyed it with Peter and would do it again any time we were back in Vienna. That was the best city tour we have ever seen. Thank you again, dear Peter, keep it up. BEST PRIVATE TOUR IN VIENNA - DON’T WAIT BOOK NOW - Our family of 5 had the best private tour of Vienna thanks to Peter owner of WIENGUIDE PRIVATE TOURS. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting a personal, up-close, and wonderful experience of the beautiful sites Vienna has to offer. From the first email with Peter I knew I selected the right Private Guide. He asked me a few questions about what we are looking for in a tour. I told him a little about my husband, our 3 children (all girls - ages 17, 19 and 21) and I. We requested to visit every location others had ranted and raved about in his many 5 star reviews.  We first met Peter when he picked us up in his extremely luxurious Mercedes van at our hotel to transport us on the first day of our 2 day tour. Our tour was supposed to begin with a walking tour but due to inclement weather Peter recommended we change our itinerary. I’m thankful for his recommendation so we would be more comfortable and enjoy the sites. He showed us some amazing, beautiful sites!!! Peter speaks excellent English. He will take you to unique places and tell stories that make what you are seeing come alive. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, laid back, professional and a very careful driver and clearly wants to give you the best experience possible. He is a local and loves his home very much. He shared the rich history of his city and country. He had wonderful stories to tell of his childhood and his family- this made the tour very enjoyable. Whatever you're looking for, he'll find it. Peter tailored the trip to our ability and comfort level. He is willing to accommodate everyone's comfort level, gently encouraging each of us to experience each of these unique locations to the fullest. Our tour took us through many sites including Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace and Saint Stephen’s Cathedral.  Peter set the perfect pace for our two day tour and we left feeling as though we'd made a friend.  It was absolutely one of the best, if not the best, days of the trip. He knew the answer to almost every question we asked him. The scenery was breathtaking! We have the most amazing pictures of our trip! He was very kind and took family photos for us.  If you're doing a tour of Vienna (which you should be), do yourself a favor and book Peter! The cost of the tour was extremely reasonable and he's worth every penny! Skip the group tours that take you to only the big tourist spots, on their schedule. Peter’s tours are totally customized, you'll see significantly more, and you'll be a lot more comfortable in his van than a tour bus. It's really like hanging out with a friend, who happens to know all the best spots. No need to plan ahead, take your rental car on the roads of Vienna and risk damage, figure out your way around or where to park, wonder if you saw everything you should have or end up in divorce court because of your husbands driving. Just call Peter get your camera ready, and let him take care of everything else. You'll be glad you did! Highly recommended for all ages!

Peter is a First class professional! - Peter was amazing! The tour was perfect. He explained everything and was very accommodating to suit us at every moment without jeopardizing any part of the tour. The car was total luxury, so comfortable and relaxing! Peter was extremely professional and you could tell he was an expert guide! Would definitely recommend him!

Very knowledgeable - We did a private half-day car tour of Vienna with Max in late July, 2023, and liked it so much, we did a private tour of Schönbrunn with him later that week. He is very knowledgeable about Vienna and Austrian history, and conveys his interest and passion in it so well. He's able to get places we wouldn't have found or known about, skip lines, and point out what's really important about a site, painting, or sculpture. We would highly recommend Wienguide Tours and Max in particular.

Amazing tour and tour guide. - Our tour guide Elimar (he is fluent in six languages) was very helpful and knowledgeable. He explained us everything along the way and answered every question. It’s amazing how much history we learned in a few hours. Elimar’s passion for Vienna history is contagious. After taking us to all the sights in the city, we had a delicious traditional lunch at a winery on the top of the mountains. We definitely recommend Elimar and this beautiful tour to anyone.
