An Essential Tour for Understanding Vienna’s Past - Deiter was an outstanding guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a warm, engaging style that made the tour both informative and enjoyable. The tour provided an excellent overview of Hitler’s relationship with Austria, as well as the broader historical context of World War I and World War II. Deiter shared numerous facts and insights that were new to me and brought the history to life in a thoughtful and balanced way. I especially appreciated his discussion of Austria’s role during this period and his inclusion of memorials and monuments dedicated to the victims of World War II. The tour was educational, respectful, and thought-provoking. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in understanding this complex chapter of Austrian and European history.

It is very well done.... - It is very well done. Michael was our tour guide, and he is extremely well read and knowledgable about Hitler and his time in Vienna. I learned a lot - the ear pieces they used were of high quality and it was easy to hear everything. I especially enjoyed learning about the Jews in Vienna and visitng where they lived and the memorials to those who died. Top notch!

Deter was a wonderful guide - This experience is a great in-depth tour of Hitler's presence in Vienna. Deter was our tour guide and he was very knowledgable on all subjects Hitler-related. He made the information interesting with stories and cool facts. He answered all questions very well. It also rained on our tour, but he accomidated well and stopped in places of shelter to keep us (mostly) dry. I would definately reccomend this to all knowledge levels on WWI/II and Hitler.

Dieter is a winner - Dieter was a top performer, incredibly knowledgeable with many beautiful stories, knowledge, answers to all questions and cared about the group. He also knew an interesting place to take shelter during a shower. Without being in a hurry, Dieter also made the most of the time (2.5 hours). There are opportunities for a visit to the toilet on the way. Fine guy. Interesting tour. The system with the earpiece worked great.

Great walking tour, definitely recommend. - Very informative walking tour, engaging, well‑paced, and full of insights that you wouldn’t get by wandering the city alone. The guide explained Vienna’s role in the early life of Adolf Hitler and wider historical context. It really helped me understand how the city’s social and political atmosphere shaped events that would later have such devastating global consequences. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone interested in the complex history of Vienna.
