Shimmering Kiss - The venue is beautiful, the staged entry meant we had plenty of space to walk around, and plenty of time to look at the exhibits. The Kiss painting is stunning in real life, it shimmers! Posters don't do it justice. There's a good restaurant too, The only negative to the experience is that the venue is not on the tube or trainline. We had to get a tram on the D line for the last part of the journey, and had a bit of trouble finding the right tram, even with sat nav. But the locals are friendly and most speak English, so we just asked someone and got pointed in the right direction. It was well worth it!

A visit to Belvedere is an essential Vienna landmark - It was amazing to stand before "The Kiss," arguable the most famous painting of Klimt. It is an enormous canvas, and it is possible to stand right in front of it though too many utubers and selfie takers blocked photos, so get up close and be assertive. Don't be dismayed, but the area around the couple looks very sooty and dark. It may not be what you expect, and it is exquisite nevertheless. Also, leave time to explore the grounds, as they are beautiful. It is magnificent palace complex originally built in the early 18th century as a summer residence for Prince Eugene of Savoy. If you are hungry before or after your visit, there is a beer hall type of restaurant to the left of the Museum which provides authentic food and a fun atmosphere. Many locals. Also, leave time to explore the grounds, as they are beautiful.

Beautiful, romantic place - Beautiful, romantic place. Exquisite building and gardens which house Klimt originals. We stood in front of The Kiss of course and his other beautiful paintings. This is what we went for. A very nice restaurant too for coffee and apfelstrudel afterwards.

Beautiful castle in the heart of the city - Palace located in the heart of Vienna, with free access to the outside. We really enjoyed this castle, more beautiful in our opinion than that of Schonbrunn

A good afternoon - If you go with children and arrive early, you can play a game of trapping animals with RA in the gardens around. It's easy to get in from your mobile. After that...the spectacular museum!

Some famous treasures in a stunning building! - Went to the upper Belvedere and had a great visit. Recommendation from a staff member was to start at the top floor and work downwards and I think its the best way! Klimts work is great to see and there are some other treasures. Don't forget to look up! Several of the rooms have stunningly ornate and painted ceilings too

Vienna travels - A nice place to spend an hour or two. Easy to access via the tram and all features were accessible. We visited at the end of October and the gardens were good, they would be probably be gorgeous in the Spring.

Absolutely worth it!!! - A must-do :) Getting in was a bit annoying, thankfully it was not raining!!! Rather too busy with some pushy people in a Saturday, but absolutely worth it :)
