• Hallstatt - Explore the heart of the Salzkammergut region in the charming town of Hallstatt, nestled among towering mountains by a lake with azure blue waters. This location is a quintessential view of Alpine Austria, offering an atmosphere and character that photos cannot fully capture. During your free time, enjoy lunch, stroll through the town’s narrow streets, and take in the breathtaking views of the lake and mountains, or rent a boat at your own expense.
• Hallstatter See - Ascend to the World Heritage Skywalk for a stunning view of the town, lake, and mountains. Note that the lift will be closed for renovations from September 2025 to June 2026. In good weather, enjoy a relaxing boat trip on the lake, taking in the beautiful natural surroundings.
• Landzeit Voralpenkreuz - Enjoy a coffee break in the country-like setting of another quality highway restaurant, where a mandatory 30-minute stop is required for the coach, in compliance with EU regulations.

• Please note that you will cover approx. 600 km. by motorway and Alpine roads at this day. It is approx. 7,5 hours drive with short breaks. You will spend approx. 20 minutes in Ort castle, max. 3 hours in Hallstatt, 15 minutes in Traunkirchen, 2 stops on the highway for coffee break.
• Since most places don’t accept cards in Hallstatt, we advise you to bring some cash for boats and street food, as well as 50-cent coins for the toilets.
• IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SKYWALK VISITORS Skywalk lift began extensive renovation works and will remain in operation until 31 August 2025. Pease note: Skywalk viewpoint is no longer barrier-free accessible. Wheelchairs and pushchairs must be parked at the valley station and there are many steps to go from moutaint station to Skywalk view point. The Skywalk lift will be closed for renovation from Septemeber 2025 to August 2026
