• Hallstatt - Explore the heart of the Salzkammergut region in the charming town of Hallstatt, nestled among towering mountains on the lake’s edge with its azure blue waters. This location is considered a quintessential view of Alpine Austria, yet no photograph can truly capture the town’s splendid atmosphere and unique character. During free time, there is ample opportunity for lunch, strolling through the town’s narrow streets, and admiring the magnificent views of the lake and mountains. Alternatively, visitors can rent a boat at their own expense.
• Hallstatter See - Ascend to the World Heritage Skywalk for a breathtaking view of the town, lake, and mountains. Please note that the lift will be closed for renovations from September 2025 to June 2026. In favorable weather, a relaxing boat trip on the lake will be available, offering stunning views of the surrounding nature.
• Landzeit Voralpenkreuz - Enjoy a coffee break in the country-like atmosphere of another high-quality restaurant along the highway. A mandatory 30-minute stop will be made for the coach, in compliance with EU law regulations.

• Please note that you will cover approx. 600 km. by motorway and Alpine roads at this day. It is approx. 7,5 hours drive with short breaks. You will spend approx. 20 minutes in Ort castle, max. 3 hours in Hallstatt, 15 minutes in Traunkirchen, 2 stops on the highway for coffee break.
• Since most places don’t accept cards in Hallstatt, we advise you to bring some cash for boats and street food, as well as 50-cent coins for the toilets.
• IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SKYWALK VISITORS Skywalk lift began extensive renovation works and will remain in operation until 31 August 2025. Pease note: Skywalk viewpoint is no longer barrier-free accessible. Wheelchairs and pushchairs must be parked at the valley station and there are many steps to go from moutaint station to Skywalk view point. The Skywalk lift will be closed for renovation from Septemeber 2025 to June 2026
