Spectacular art collection and wonderful food in cafe! - This museum was the highlight of my trip! The chance to view Klimt landscapes , portraits and larger monumental works was a real treat. The museum also houses a large collection of Egon Schieles. The audio tape on the phone was worth the cost as you learned much about the artists and the times. We stopped for lunch at the museum cafe and it was delicious, reasonable and very quick. The poke bowls is great!

Fantastic experience visiting the Leopold Museum - I had a fantastic experience visiting the Leopold Museum, and I found the collection particularly intriguing. The highlight for me was the Austrian Impressionism exhibit, which was truly mesmerizing. Additionally, the Egon Schiele collection was absolutely amazing—his unique style and expressive works left a lasting impression. The museum's layout allowed for an immersive experience, making it easy to appreciate the detailed brushwork and the innovative techniques used by the artists. I highly recommend the Leopold Museum for anyone interested in impressionist and modern Austrian art. It was a memorable and enriching visit overall!

Must visit for Shiele and Klimt lovers - This is my second time visiting this amazing museum. I love Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt. If you do, this is the must-visit place. Additionally, many interesting pieces captivate you. I would say you need at least 2 hours to see the whole museum. It’s definitely worth to spend your money and time. I recommend to visit here in the morning as it gets busier later. If you have big luggage, there’s lockers (you need 1€ or 2 € coin to use, but it’s free of charge.) The museum shop and cafe are located on the 2nd floor.

Beautiful hanging - Very nice clear hanging of the Viennese Modernism. Finally a museum where you can still look at the pictures in front of all the people in peace

Big surprise: only 50% of the collection viewable but the full price had to be paid. - When we arrived at the Museum on September 11th, we found out that the whole third floor (containing 50% of the permanent collection, with the main part of the Museum's highlights on it) was not accessible. We were not informed about this when we bought our tickets online on September 4th. The museum should have informed us and, if we wanted to book anyway, give us a discount for such a substantial reduction of the viewable collection. THIS FEELS LIKE A PURE RIP OFF BY THE MUSEUM.
