Absolutely worth seeing!!! - Very nice, informative and also fun museum! Extremely friendly reception and many stations to look at and also join in yourself! The highlight is the big hall, where all four ostriches really played back then! Be sure to look at it!! Is easy to reach by U6 to Spittelau and from there a few minutes walk!

Pure experience flair without mass tourism atmosphere' - I write here with pleasure and recommendation and praise the HouseofStrauss for its entertaining and elegant cultural heritage. I went to see the museum and the Strauss concert with my girlfriend. A historical journey through time that brought the Strauss family and their life's work closer to us. The museum was varied with its colorful and modern design and even equipped with a small quiz. The most impressive for us was the magnificent hall. With the lighting effects, during the concert, it shone in all its facets!! To the orchestra I would also like to praise the violinist for his incredible sympathy! Thank you for this experience!

A great experience! - A great experience! Especially the multimedia show in the concert hall is very special. We then looked at them twice and afterwards ate very well there.

Worth the money - Loved the history overview and the special treat at the end. A wonderful way of knowing the family tree, how life was in the music world and identifying the talents at early ages. I recommend this as an introduction to the family and friends of Johann Strauss.

Superb visit to The House of Strauss - This is a superb museum, very well laid out with good descriptions in German and English. There are interactive displays which are also well done. To get a good overview of the Strauss family and the mark they made in music history, this is the place to visit. The museum is spotlessly clean and airy, there is a lovely shop and restaurant attached to it too. The staff were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. It is easier to get to than one thinks. We took the tram to Schottentor, the lift from ground level to the lower ground level and then the no 37 tram towards Hohe Warte. We got off at Pokomygasse and the House of Strauss is a few metres away! We highly recommend making the effort to see this wonderful museum. We could not fault it!

Very modern museum nice but not mandatory - Nice place, however perceives itself as quite expensive for a small museum but we do not feel fooled either because many special effects, private museum and little attended. We learn a lot about the Strauss dynasty of musicians. This makes you visit the city as it is located in a district far from the historic center. Nice walk but not necessary if you have little time

Very successful - The museum meets really high expectations: the life and work of Strauss (and thus also the time in which he lived) is presented in a very entertaining way. That was really a good time spent in the museum and we enjoyed it as a small group.

Not essential to do - A folkloric and friendly welcome. But disappointing content. A little lacking in meaning. Some fun activities that don't work. Damage. But the welcome is charming.
