Visitors are invited on a journey of exploration, spanning from Vienna around 1900 through the art world of the 1960s to the present day. The Heidi Horten Collection presents an exhibition that invites contemplation while profoundly moving its audience. “Animalia” delves into the intimate relationship between humans and animals, revealing the various ways we perceive them: as companions, symbols, sources of utility, or reflections of our own emotions. Featuring over 90 works by artists such as Chagall, Hirst, Jermolaewa, Lassnig, Lichtenstein, Marc, Oppenheim, and Warhol, “Animalia” encourages visitors to ponder.
