Full day trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg - Great full day experience from Vienna to Hallstatt and Salzburg. Our tour guide, Ottavia was really nice. She gave us a walking tour and also recommended best restaurants and shops. She was also very informative, and shared facts and history about the places we passed on the way. Absolutely worth it!

Great Trip - This is a trip worthwhile doing whilst you are in Vienna. Our guide was really lovely and very knowledgeable. I am so sorry I didn’t catch her name. We visited Hallstatt and Salzburg and what beautiful places these are. The castle in Salzburg is well worth a visit and the views at the top are spectacular. It was a long day but well worth it. Thanks to our guide and driver for a wonderful day.

Good day trip - This is a long day, but the bus was comfortable and there were rest stop breaks. Our tour guide Priscilla was knowlegable and friendly. Important to know: most shops in Hallstat are cash only. The shops that do accept card charge a few. Salzburg was nice but the time there is limited. This is a great tour for someone who has limited time in Austria and wants to see outside of Vienna.

Amazing! - This tour was amazing! It was a great way to see more of Austria! The timing in each destination was more than enough for sight seeing. Our tour guide Ilir was one of the best! He was so welcoming and friendly! The extra little touches on this tour made it even better! Would 100% recommend!

Beautiful places - Very cool experience got to see some amazing scenery, only minor was that we didn’t have enough time to see Hallstatt (around 2 hours) but it’s definitely worth it

Do this if you wNt to... - Do this if you want to visit 2 far apart ‘must visit” places outside of Vienna, in one day, in a relaxed manner - w/o the hassle of figuring out the train schedules. Ottavia our guide did her best to accommodate everyone but catered mostly to one person who clearly did not do her diligent research before joining the tour (given her limited mobility). This led to the rest of the other paying customers to slow down and lose precious time, with some deciding to seperate from the group, and lose out on important details narrated by the guide. Kudos to the driver for being efficient and for driving safely.

Day trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg - Bit of a mixed experience Pros: Good, comfortable vehicle, with WiFi. We were offered biscuits and coffee by the guide- sweet gesture. The guide offered to click our photos and even gave us a printout of the photo he clicked from his camera. The vehicle had a toilet.. Cons: Information about the places could have been a lot better. It was often felt that the information provided was very superficial and not detailed enough. Salzburg was a bit of a disappointment. Expected a lot more information about the place and also to be "guided and informed" simultaneously about the various areas explored in Salzburg- this didn't happen barring a few places. It was disappointing as we were really looking forward to a lot more information (beyond Mozart, and Marabella garden's connection to The Sound of Music). The tour was supposed to be in English, but half of the time we couldn't understand what he was saying. Some members from the other vehicle (there were 2 vehicles booked as part of this tour, each having a guide) reported better experiences from their guide. In summary, Hallstatt turned out to be just a photo op event, and Salzburg had unfulfilled potential. Can be improved upon greatly. Didn't justify the price tag.

The visit of Hallstatt... - The visit to Hallstatt is really worth it. However, we were disappointed with the visit to Salzburg. A lot of travel time to not see anything worth it because of the lack of time in Salzburg.

If anything goes out of the plans, you’re by yourself. Rude driver and unprepared guide! - I was feeling sick (nauseous and stomachache) and when I asked the guide for help, she was very cold and showed no interest in helping. I then asked the driver to leave the bus, and he was extremely rude, screaming at me in German. I know that something else was going on but he didn’t event listened to what I said. I then left the bus (and the tour) in tears, nobody cared or came after me.
