Loved the tour! - Excellent tour. I highly recommend it. It was our favorite part of our trip to Austria. Our tour guide was informative and friendly. They did a great job!

wonderful day trip with a... - wonderful day trip with a great combination of nature and culture. Our guide did a great job of both giving info and walking tours at each stop for those of us who wanted to, as well as arranging free time. I’m so sorry I didn’t catch her name, but we were on the 1/26 tour.

Nice Day Trip for solo female - Excellent tour and guides. They provided us with a snack, enough bathroom stops throughout the trip and were very informative! It was a great trip.

Great tour. Long day but worth it. - It’s a LONG day. We read previous reviews and made sandwiches to eat along the way. Our tour guides Izzy and Rina were lovely and very caring. Knew a lot of “secret” areas for photos and walks especially in Hallstatt like an easier way to get to the waterfall.

Amazing experience!! - It was a great day trip from Vienna! Our guide Stephie and Amie were great as tour guide. Stephie was just amazing, the best tour guide .. her English was perfect, she was very informative and instructions were clear and helpful. Tour ran on time without any delays inspite of such a large group, credit goes to all the participants as well. They offered coffee and a biscuit on bus which was a very thoughtful gesture, never had that before with any day tour company. Bus was comfortable for a long journey. And a printed photo of a family at Hallstatt at the end of the day made it all worth it! So thankful to Stephie, Amie and the driver who drove safely and on schedule. Places are just out of the world and picture perfect… Highly recommended!!

Horrid customer service - So we showed up to the bus. And we clearly had tickets for the trip. The guide said we can’t get on as there is no space on the bus. So we spent all this money to be left stranded on the street. Don’t do this trip

THEY DO NOT PICK YOU UP AT YOUR HOTEL EVEN IF IT'S PRINTED ON YOUR TICKET - WARNING: THEY DO NOT PICK YOU UP EVEN IF THE PAID TICKET SAYS THEY WILL. Having read the reviews about not being collected at your hotel, and being an elderly couple, I phoned Viator/Trip Advisor in UK 3 weeks prior to the trip due 2nd January, and was told "the coach will collect you at your hotel, pay the driver 40Euro on boarding". On 31st December they took the payment of £211, sent Confirmation with tickets which clearly stated :"Pickup Point Ruby Lissi Hotel 19..."(our hotel) The NIGHT BEFORE the trip, at 21.30 I found a text saying to make our way to another part of Vienna to their Pickup Point at 06.50. I immediately phoned for clarification: only one of three numbers replied which resulted in a very curt email saying " you only paid for the day trip, and Viator does not accept payment for pickups". They ADVERTISE "picking up and dropping travellers to their hotels". We got a taxi next morning at 06.20 to the Meeting point to find the coach full. Of course they were not able to tour hotels collecting 74 people...but why not just tell the truth beforehand?? Conclusion: IF we hadn't seen their lastminute text, two very elderly people - but this is not the point we could have been a family with 4 kids- would have been waiting in vain outside their hotel at 7 in the morning...and of course would have lost their £211 because they hadn't shown up. The only reason for writing this is to warn others to be extremely wary because, in the end, the trip was ok, the two guides were informative, friendly, and very kind to my 80+ year old husband.

Not guided at all , - Not a guided trip at all ,the guide was reading a script,it is basically a bus that is driving you to Hallstatt and Salzburg. If you want a real guide that is explaining Austria and history this is not the case you will find the trip very looooooong .
