Upon reaching Vidigal Square, a local guide and resident will warmly welcome you, sharing a wealth of cultural and historical insights.
You’ll board a local and safe MOTOTAXI OR VAN (included) to reach the trailhead.
The journey begins with an easy to moderate 1.5km trail, taking approximately 50 minutes to climb. The path is well-marked, allowing you to appreciate the local flora and fauna. Along the way, there are several viewpoints perfect for a quick rest.
Throughout the tour, the guide will share fascinating information and stories about the region.
After about an hour of walking, you’ll be rewarded with the city’s most spectacular view, featuring iconic landmarks like Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, and the beaches of Leblon, Ipanema, and Copacabana, as well as the entire southern area.
