A wonderful day- Thanks Rukoko - This day trip was so much better than expected. Gerald, my guide, driver, chef and teacher was simply superb. We saw many animals I had not expected to see including jackals, mongeese as well as many of the classics. Only lions eluded us today.
This park feels like a true game of find the animals, perhaps less abundant than the likes of Chobe but more bird life and very varied landscapes. The lunch and home made muffins (thanks Charity) were fabulous.
The most memorable moments were a bull elephant taking a real dislike to our vehicle and some adept reverse driving was required!

Zambezi - Nice and enjoyable safari, including small breakfast picnic at the riverside and lunch in one of the camping areas (near waterhole). Pick up from the hotel was on time which I appreciate a lot. Guide AB was professional and friendly. Even though we did not spot all the animals expexted because of high grass I was still amazed of the landscape. To see elephants sleeping is something particular.

Amazing - We had a combined walking and birding safari in the Zambezi National Park with mid day muffins and lunch. Our guides (Tendai and Gerald) were excellent, fantastic at spotting even the smallest of birds and incredibly knowledgable . The walking safari was a highlight as we were able to get close to the animals but to also look at the tracks, bush plants and trees. We managed to see so much amazing wildlife. I highly recommend it

Wonderful game drives and walking safari in Zambezi NP - I spent a full day stating 6am for walking safari tracking animals and game driving in Zambezi NP with Rukoko Safari. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable guides. Apart from all the animals we saw I also very much enjoyed our breakfast by the Zambezi and our lunch next to a waterhole. Logistics was smooth with pick up and drop off at my lodge and food and drinks was all very well prepared. Great experience.

Excellent private safari - This was a most enjoyable experience. The team visited me at my Hotel the afternoon before and introduced Martin (guide) and the vehicle. The next day the pickup was prompt at 06:00.
After sorting out park fees etc (recommend a Kaza VISA) we set out on a safari of the National park in Zambia and Zimbabwe.
A highlight of the day following lunch at viewing platform was the arrival of a large herd of buffalo at about 14:45. The animals have their own timetable so patience is required with game viewing and you may not see everything in a single day.
We arrived back at the hotel about 17:00.

Amazing day out with superb guides - Highly recommended. Our family includes two young children and two adults who are experienced (Africa) birders, we have done quite a few safaris in different places. Finding guides that are excellent with bird ID and also that can keep two children under 10 (and two adults) entertained is tough. So meeting Sam and Martin (from Rukoko Safaris) was a real treat.
We did a full day birding trip in the Zambezi NP. It was very well organised, we were met two days before the trip at our hotel. Sam and Martin wanted to know what we expected from the day and took our food and drink orders. We paid at this point and provided our details, that allowed them to pre-pay the park fees, which was a nice touch and meant that we didn't waste time early in the morning when the birding is best. The food provided was very good and there was a good selection of drinks.
Sam and Martin were incredibly knowledgeable, not only about identification of birds, but also the mammals, trees etc, but also animal behaviour. Considering we visited in the dry season, the temperature was high and it was a bit windy we did very well and got over 120 bird species between us, as well as the more usual safari animals.
It was a thoroughly good day out and definitely a highlight of our trip to Victoria Falls.
