Unforgettable experience - Yesterday afternoon our group of 6 had a private sunset cruise on the Zambezi. Yolanda and Audrey were the fantastic captain and crew of our boat. They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and took excellent care of us from spotting wildlife to supplying us with drinks and delicious canapés. We saw lots of hippos, a few crocodiles and an elephant plus the beautiful sunset. Thank you Yolanda and Audrey for an unforgettable experience. I am very glad we decided to do the private tour on the small boat. I should also mention that we were picked up from our hotel and dropped off after our cruise so the whole experience from start to finish was excellent.

Wonderful sunset experience - Doing a private cruise on a small boat gave us the opportunity to access more secluded sections of the river, which allowed us to see animals up close. Our skipper, Elvis, and our hostess, Patience, was very friendly and efficient and Elvis was very knowledgeable on the river and its animals. It was a lovely experience and I highly recommend it. Sunset on the Zambezi is a must-do experience.

Excellent Private Cruise - Very well organized. Knowledgeable and friendly crew. Excellent canapés—sushi and selection of small burgers, chicken kebabs, quiche and more. Cruised near shore line to see variety of wildlife—hippos, crocs, openbill storks, bee-eaters and more. Splendid sunset. Nice to be just the family, rather than larger boat.

Great private boat trip - Awesome trip on the Sambesi with a small boat, very romantic and exclusive! The crew with Captain Yolanda was great, taking care about our wishes and made some great wildlife sights (elephants, hippos, crocodiles and many birds). Food was very good as well!

PURE AFRICA TURNING THE ORDINARY INTO THE EXTRAORDINARY - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Truly Exceptional Experience on the Zambezi! I had the immense pleasure of experiencing the Pure Africa Exclusive Dinner Cruise on the Zambezi, and it was nothing short of magical! From the moment we stepped aboard, we were treated like royalty. The luxurious design of the boat set the perfect tone for the evening—a blend of sophistication and comfort that complemented the natural beauty of the river. As we drifted along the tranquil waters, the breathtaking sunset views over the Zambezi painted the sky in hues of gold, orange, and pink, creating a scene straight out of a dream. The culinary experience was world-class! Each course was exquisitely crafted, featuring a delightful fusion of local flavors and international finesse. The presentation was impeccable, and every bite was a celebration of taste. The attentive staff catered to every detail, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that we felt completely pampered throughout. Adding to the magic was the gentle ambiance of the Zambezi. The soft sounds of the river, combined with the occasional sighting of hippos and other wildlife, made the evening feel like an exclusive connection to nature. This wasn’t just a dinner cruise; it was an unforgettable journey of elegance, tranquility, and pure joy. I can’t recommend the Pure Africa Exclusive Dinner Cruise enough—it’s a must-do for anyone visiting the Zambezi! Thank you to the team for delivering such an extraordinary experience. I’ll cherish this memory forever! 💫 Elizabeth Curiger turning the ordinary into the extraordinary ! Grateful exceptional hospitality

Worth the extra to be pampered - Sharon, our hostess, and Captain Elvis, could not have been nicer. The captain saw how we were interested in birds and so he made a special effort to find and identify them. The food was very good and beautifully presented. A lovely personal experience!

Wonderful experience - Loved this little cruise. Being on a smaller boat was so much nicer. The food was very good, service was excellent, views could not be beat. We saw all kinds of wildlife, while floating quietly along the Zambezi. We were 3 adults and a teen. All of us loved this evening cruise. Highly recommend over the larger boats for sure.

Good cruise, awful dinner - We went on the Zambezi Reflections for a sunset cruise and dinner. The cruise itself was lovely. We saw hippos, crocodiles, and elephants. The sunset was incredible! We were advised to do a dinner and cruise combo. It was 100 USD per person. We deeply regret dinner on board the Zambezi Reflections boat. I think (not completely sure), that if we did only the cruise, it would be 60 USD per person. The drinks were included. The wines were terrible, the cocktails were terrible, and they basically served the cheapest liquor possible. If you intend to get drunk, then it will get the job done. But if you intend to have a lovely glass of wine as you glide along the river, you'll be disappointed. Instead of having an all-inclusive drinks package, they'd be better off offering two drinks per person but making sure they were serving quality drinks. The starter board was terrible. They had one piece of broccoli and 2 other things. They sounded good on paper but were atrocious. For starters, we opted for beetroot carpaccio, and it wasn't terrible. For the main course, we decided on veggie pasta, and once again, it was not good. Neither of us finished it. It's hard to screw up a simple veggie pasta, but somehow they managed. The dessert, too, went untouched by me. And I LOVE dessert. I promise I am not being picky. I am a terrible cook myself, and I rarely waste food. This meal was an exception. The cruise was good, but the dinner was a gigantic waste. Of course, these reviews are subjective. There are many fantastic reviews for this company. Maybe our experience was just a fluke. They might just have been having a bad day.
