- Victoria Falls - After picking you up from your hotel, we will drive to the sewage ponds located on the outskirts of town. - Victoria Falls - After picking you up from your hotel, we will drive to the sewage ponds located on the outskirts of town. During the drive, there is an opportunity to observe various birds in the town area, including the Laughing Dove, Pied Crow, Common Bulbul, Red-winged Starling, White-browed Robin-Chat, Scarlet-chested Sunbird, and White-browed Sparrow-Weaver.
- Chinotimba - The sewage ponds near Chinotimba attract wildlife throughout the year. Access to this area is free, and it hosts numerous species that can also be seen in Zambezi National Parks and other reserves where an entry fee is required. While walking in the area, you can observe many resident and migratory species. The ponds are popular with aquatic species such as the Egyptian Goose, Water Thick-knee, Black-winged Stilt, Blacksmith Lapwing, White-headed Lapwing, Three-banded Plover, African Jacana, Marabou Stork, Hamerkop, African Sacred Ibis, and various migratory waders like the Wood Sandpiper. We will spend about an hour exploring the surrounding shrubland, which is home to many species such as the Emerald-spotted Wood-Dove, Namaqua Dove, Gray Go-away-bird, African Gray Hornbill, Southern Yellow-billed Hornbill, Little Bee-eater, Lilac-breasted Roller, White Helmetshrike, Tawny-flanked Prinia, Kurrichane Thrush, Red-backed Scrub-Robin, Red-billed Quelea, Red-billed Firefinch, and Golden-breasted Bunting.
- VICTORIA FALLS Zambezi River - We will drive to the riverbank, where we can observe species unique to this habitat. This includes specialties such as Pratincoles (Collared, Black-Winged, and Rock Pratincole are all possible) and the Collared Palm-Thrush. Common riverine birds include the African Darter, Long-tailed Cormorant, Hadada Ibis, and African Fish-Eagle. In the woodland and shrubland along the river, you can expect to see the Red-faced Mousebird, White-fronted Bee-eater, Crested Barbet, Black-Collared Barbet, Black-backed Puffback, Tropical Boubou, Crimson-breasted Gonolek, Terrestrial Brownbulbul, and Southern Yellow White-eye.
- The Lookout Cafe - Wild Horizon - We will transfer to the Lookout Café. On the café’s terrace, you can enjoy stunning views over the Batoka Gorge (Zambezi River). Additionally, there is a chance to spot some additional species such as swifts, swallows, and various raptors. If time runs out, the tour concludes here. From the Lookout Café, you can easily walk back to your hotel in Victoria Falls town.
- Victoria Falls Safari Club - If time permits, we will drive you to the Victoria Falls Safari Club. This luxurious lodge features a lookout terrace with excellent views into Zambezi National Park. Daily at 1 pm, vultures are fed right under the terrace, providing an excellent opportunity to see species such as the Hooded Vulture and White-backed Vulture up close. From the lodge, you also have the chance to spot mammals such as antelopes or giraffes.
