Departure Day

Victoria Falls - Guests are advised to arrive in Victoria Falls Village at least one day before the rafting trip begins, as pre-departure briefings occur the day prior.

Guests should enjoy breakfast at their hotel before being picked up at 9 am for a transfer to our office, where the river safety briefing will take place. The initial part of the rafting adventure is a learning experience, followed by Swimming Under The Spray Of The Victoria Falls. However, today there is no gradual build-up; this 28 km stretch on the first day is the most thrilling section of the river covered during the 3-day trip, featuring numerous class 5 rapids.

Victoria Falls - As the sun rises, illuminating the towering walls above, guests awaken to the aroma of bacon and eggs cooking over the fire. With all equipment securely stowed for the journey downstream and a long day ahead, we embark on a world of exhilarating action and breathtaking scenery.

Whitewater Rafting

Victoria Falls - It’s another challenging day as we portage around Moemba Falls, a class 6 rapid. We will then navigate two rapids before reaching the Dam site around 11 am, where we will have the second portage and begin the long walk to the top of the canyon. Ice-cold soft drinks and beers will be waiting. Lunch will be served on our way back to town, which will take about a two-hour drive.

Depart Victoria Falls after breakfast for Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park - Clients are transferred from Victoria Falls to a lodge in Botswana, where they drop off their bags before heading to the river for a morning game viewing along the Chobe River. The morning cruise concludes around 12:30 p.m., after which clients are taken to a hotel on the riverbank for a complimentary lunch. Following lunch, clients board safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in Chobe National Park, where they can enjoy abundant wildlife at a leisurely pace, as they will spend the night in Chobe. After the game drive, they return to the lodge for check-in.

Victoria Falls - 2-hour guided tour of Victoria Falls. Tours of Victoria Falls can vary depending on the time of year. From April to July, the Falls are at their fullest and most breathtaking, creating an impressive wall of water. Visitors are likely to get wet from the spray while walking through the lush rainforest. Photography can be challenging from the ground during this period. For optimal game viewing, plan tours in Victoria Falls from late August to the end of December. During this drier season, wildlife is more visible in the bush, and the water flow of the Falls decreases, revealing the rocky cliffs more clearly.
