Victoria Falls - Situated on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe in Southern Africa, Victoria Falls is one of the world’s largest waterfalls and a member of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. The falls are nourished by the Zambezi River and are locally referred to as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya,’ meaning the ‘Smoke that Thunders.’ The tour includes visits to 19 different viewpoints along the route, featuring the Devil’s Cataract, the Main Falls, and the Horse Shoe Falls, among others.

Guests will be collected from their hotel or lodge and taken to the falls for their tour. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours, after which guests will be returned to their lodge.

Victoria Falls - Boma Dinner & Drum Show

Upon arrival at the boma, guests will receive a traditional robe to set the mood. Prepare to be captivated by the lively atmosphere. The restaurant is filled with the aromas of local dishes and game meat on the barbecue. The Boma is partially open to the African skies, offering a unique experience. The food is prepared and served in the style and abundance of a grand traditional feast.

For a fun challenge: Eating a dried Mopane Worm has become a tradition at the Boma. Those brave enough to try one will receive a certificate as proof.

After dinner, the real excitement begins with an interactive traditional African drum show. Guests will enjoy outstanding performances by traditional singers and dancers.

Hwange Highlights

Hwange National Park - Guests will be picked up from their hotel or lodge at 6:00 am and taken to Hwange National Park. The journey along Bulawayo Road takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes (180km). Upon arrival at the park, guests will enjoy breakfast followed by a morning game drive. Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe’s largest and most visited park, renowned for its abundant wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, lions, wild dogs, impalas, giraffes, and numerous bird species.

After the morning game drive, guests will have lunch and then embark on another afternoon game drive. There will be ample opportunities to observe a wide variety of animals, as many waterholes throughout the park provide clear views of the wildlife. After the game drive, guests can relax at Hwange Safari Lodge.

Zambezi River - The Zambezi sunset cruise offers a wonderful way to unwind and appreciate the stunning beauty of the Zambezi River.

There are excellent photo opportunities against the often breathtaking African sunsets.

Birds skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the African horizon. Guests may have the chance to see various wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and elephants, as well as enjoy the diverse bird species.

Guests will be picked up from their hotel or lodge at 3:30 pm and taken to the Zambezi River, returning after the activity concludes at 6:30 pm.
