Don't overlook the Penguins - If you have this opportunity to see the Penguins on Phillip Island, take it. Our family of 4 adults booked the 12 hour excursion to Phillip Island takes you through amazing areas of the Melbourne Bay, allowing one to see the locales and wildlife unknown elsewhere. The tour group filled out the entire 24-seat bus, and our bus driver/guide Alisha kept us informed, entertained and educated. We've learned some Australian slang and expressions. Highly recommend this excursion.

Five stars would recommend!! - I toured with Rhys and he was really knowledgeable about the animals and locations. He also provided great recommendations of restaurants and art museums to do for the rest of our time in Melbourne. Even though it was a long day it was well balanced with sightseeing and down time

Fantastic day trip to Philip Island and more ... - Fantastic trip and highly recommended! Our driver, David, clearly loved his job and wanted to ensure everyone had the best experience. The day started with an 11.30am pickup and there were 23 of us on the bus. First stop Brighton beach huts and a good overview of the very expensive neighbourhood. An hour's drive on to the Moonlit Wildlife sanctuary arriving just in time for a very interesting conservation talk with some of the animals stealing the show. A chance to see Australian wildlife - koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and more. On to Woolamai beach with the added bonus that a surfing contest was in progress. We also stopped at pyramid rock and saw some wallabies in their natural habitat. The finale was the penguin parade which didn't disappoint with the tiny penguins warbling up the beach to find their young in the burrow, each with their own call to track each other down. The venue was very well organised with good food and drink. We were dropped back to our hotel at midnight. A very enjoyable day and good value for money - thank you David!
