Sammy was my tour guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy going. I was able to change my reservation due to unforeseen circumstances and it was no trouble at all. I definitely recommend, especially for a first timer or someone interested in history!

Great tour! Wide ranging with information on many aspects of the island history, culture, and bits of Christiansted. Not your usual light, glossy canned speech with simple commentary. This was thought provoking and challenging. Left me thirsting for more. If you really want a start to insight into the messy history of the island this is for you. Not for people who do like to be uncomfortable when faced with what things were really like. (It wasn't nice.) Also lots of info re various plants and uses for foods and remedies. Would go again as I think every time the content will be a bit different.

This is a really good tour for the history of St. Croix. However, there was minimal information about Alexander Hamilton.

Our tour guide for this tour never showed up, and we never received any communication from CHANT directly about it. We happened to run into another CHANT tour for a cruise ship and the tour guide kindly let us join her tour (which was through Christiansted generally, and was not focused on Alexander Hamilton). The other tour guide Leonor was great, but we joined her tour late because we’d been waiting for the Hamilton guide, so we missed content. I’ve now emailed CHANT twice about possibly rebooking our Hamilton tour or getting a refund and I’ve received no reply. I’m giving two stars because we appreciated Leonor, but generally we’re disappointed to have spent money and time on something that was not what we signed up for.

Our tour guide never showed up and we weren't notified. We were able to join a different tour, but it wasn't what we signed up for.

You guys canceled our tour without the notice ahead. My family and other people who signed up your tour waited for your tour guide for a long time. We found out the tour guide was not available by calling you. :( wasted everybody’s day plan on st croix.
