We are located in Vestmannaeyjar ( Heimaey), which is an island in south island. We are just 1.minute away from the ferry terminal in Vestmannaeyjar and 5-7 minutes away from the cruise ship port. You will find us at the harbour in a small black and blue house with Puffin signs above.

Ebbi is the best - The tour with Ebbi was one of the best experiences I had throughout all of Iceland. Don't wait to book as the tours filled fast during peak puffin season.

This is a spectacular tour all around- one of the best in Iceland, and highly recommended. - Ebbi is a world class host- knowledgeable and accommodating with a great sense of humor as well. This tour visits volcanic eruption sites, a recreation of an original settlement, and puffin nesting cliffs.

Great tour with a local - We were on Heimaey Island in August 2025 and booked the 2:30 pm tour with Ebbi. Ebbi gave us an authentic insight into life on the island and led us great across the island. I don't think there's anyone better to represent the island and it was a really nice tour. Ebbi has also always responded to questions from the participants. We had originally considered whether it would work with the 5pm ferry, but that was no problem at all. On the contrary, there were even a few guests of a cruise ship on board and Ebbi made a small detour to let them disembark in time directly at the terminal. For us we went to the center, with more than enough buffer for the ferry. Anyone coming to the Westman Islands should definitely do the tour with Ebbi. A really great experience.

Fun and Informative - Ebbi is an extremely Interesting and jovial guide who is passionate about his island and has a true gift for story telling. The tour is both fun and informative! The puffins are definitely a highlight but one important aspect not mentioned in other reviews, is his recreation of a Viking home with life sized historical characters whose silicone heads and arms were made in Chicago. There is another story there… You will visit the windiest spot on the planet for a foto op and of course the volcano whose eruption increased the island’s size by 1/3. It was an incredible event. Also, make time to visit the volcano museum while there.

A truly pleasant and personally experience - With this tour you will get a truly native experience. With a professional and local guide. It is clear he bleeds for keeping his home the breathtaking place it is. The level of professionalism mixed with his ability to make it personal for each member of the tour is a marvel. This is a must see for every tourist.

Puffins and more! - We all enjoyed our two hour tour of the island with Ebbi. He gave a great overview of the culture and history of the community on the island. And we really enjoyed seeing him demonstrate the rope climbing method used to collect bird eggs. Oh to be so limber as an adult! Highlights of course were the puffins. We had been told that early September was the wrong time of year to see puffins but that was not true. We had a stranded puffling on our ferry ride over and got to see how they are helped to glide back to see! Then before the bus tour, we saw people carrying puffin babies in boxes to release them back to the ocean. It is such an interesting natural phenomenon caused by the introduction of electricity on the island. Anyway, if you go to Westman Islands, take the tour and enjoy!

Day 1 of 14 and it was all downhill from there - My wife and I scheduled this tour on a whim and it turned out to be one of our favorite things we’d done on the entire trip. Incredibly informative as well as genuinely funny. Can’t recommend this tour enough. Ebbi is tops!

Fantastic personal service - We were on a Viking cruise and we booked this tour since the similar Viking tour was already full. Unfortunately our ship had to dock off the coast, necessitating use of tenders and we were a bit late. We arrived at the office by the harbor about 15 min after the bus departed. Fortunately the person in the office offered to take us by car to catch up with the tour (it was still pretty close). We really appreciated this gesture. The tour was fantastic. The guide was fantastic (very engaging and funny!). The puffins were wonderful and we really enjoyed hearing about and seeing the volcano. Highly recommended!
