After the quick security check at the first set of gates, cross the cobblestone square until you reach the massive shiny Golden gate. Your guide will be waiting for you there, right between entrances A and B. He will be holding a Kingtours sign and he will give you your tickets !

Owner had to reschedule our tour, but was able to come up with excellent alternative tour. This company is top notch! - Owner of tour company gave excellent customer service. He was able to come up with an alternative that worked for both of us so that we could still do our Versailles Golf Cart tour. I highly recommend this company.

Enchanting Versailles Experience with Aloïs - Our tour with Aloïs at Versailles and the Hameau de la Reine was absolutely unforgettable! Aloïs brought the history of Versailles to life with captivating stories, humor, and incredible knowledge — we felt like we were stepping back in time. His passion for French history and art made every detail fascinating, and he ensured everyone in the group felt included and engaged. The visit ended perfectly with a discounted lunch at Angelina’s, where the food and ambiance were exquisite. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — Aloïs is truly exceptional!

Fun and Active Tour - Our guide, Aloïs (apologies if misspelled), was fantastic. In spite of a strike and technical issues delaying our start, he made sure our tour was relaxed and complete. Aloïs’ knowledge of Versailles and French history was deep, and he is a great “storyteller”, giving us such important historical and cultural context. We loved the golf cart and bike combination so we could get all the way out to the Queen’s Hamlet. It is a very active day… and one we will never forget.

Paula was an excellent guide! - Paula was a beyond excellent tour guide! She taught us so much and was extremely friendly and pleasant to be around. We had a fantastic time on the tour and loved seeing the palace, definitely a must see! We booked the tour because one of the people traveling with us has mobility issues. The golf cart and shuttle were essential to getting around the place grounds and garden. The only thing was that we only used the golf cart for the first hour of our tour and our mobility issue family member would have benefited from using them longer. By the end he could barely continue to walk and decided that he would skip the majority of the palace’s interior. For such an expensive tour it would have been nice to have access to the carts for longer. Despite that Paula made the tour a special occasion and was an absolutely amazing guide!

Gardens and Hamlet are a MUST - Exceptional experience with our fantastic guide, Alois! We weren’t sure what to expect, but Alois’s knowledge and stories brought us back to the times of Louis XIV through the French Revolution. The Hamlet is absolutely amazing and we enjoyed the multiple elements of nature and history. The golf cart was excellent as we had family “of an advanced age” that were able to enjoy the gardens without the extensive walking (albeit, there is still walking, just not as much)! We couldn’t have asked for a better tour. Truly appreciate the experience!!

The relaxing way to see Versailles! - We took my parents on a holiday to see Versailles and Monet's Garden. As my parents are less able than they were to get about, we found this golf buggy based tour with Kingtours and it worked out brilliantly. Our guide was Alois. He was so good at bringing the grounds of Versailles to life as we drove amongst the different groves and fountains of the grounds. He then tee'd up the Hamlet of Marie Antoinette and sent us in, before rejoining us after lunch to for more interesting stories and recommendations for our self guided visit to the palace itself. Our tour included the guide, entrance to the gardens, the palace, the use of the buggies and a champagne and snack set. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and a special big thank you to Alois who was ever attentive to our needs and explaining our different options.

Wanted to be kings and felt like peasants - Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company since they completely forgot our tour date. We booked for November 21st, but they had us in their system for November 23rd. This was a shock to us since we received a confirmation email from them the day prior. I was traveling with my 76 year old dad and 72 year old mother for her birthday trip, and they left us waiting out in the cold and rain. My boyfriend was able to contact them through Whatsapp after I couldn't reach them by phone to see what was going on, and they did get us tickets into the whole domain for free to make up for their mistake as well as a full refund. However, I really wanted to do this tour to learn from someone local who could hit the highlights since the area is so large, and I really wanted the use of golf carts and shuttles since my parents have mobility issues. This ended up being a more painful day for them than it needed to be. Instead of kings, we felt like peasants, so I'm sorry to say we will not be recommending this company.

dont get this tour - to much time in the gardens almost 6 hours only and hour in golf cart if you dont want bicicles prepare to wait for ever. when you are ready to enter the most important part "the castle" it is full and the tour gide disapears no directions going foward
