Gustavo was an exceptional guide—extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history. He didn’t just recite facts; he brought the stories, people, and events of Versailles to life in a way that made the experience unforgettable. We walked away with a much deeper understanding of the palace, its history, and the lives that unfolded there. Gustavo’s storytelling made everything feel vivid and meaningful. Viva La Versailles ! - Our guide Gustavo was incredibly knowledgeable about Versailles and the political details surrounding the period it encompassed in history. He was engaging and helpful with our questions and speaks English well.He also recommended an excellent brasserie for dinner after the tour! Our car was a Mercedes black sprinter(?) van I think /very nice and comfortable. Lovely experience and we recommend highly.

Relaxed Morning with Jose - We had a super relaxed morning with Jose, truly no hassle. Pickups were on time, tickets handled, and the smoothness of the route kept us ahead of the crowds. He answered every question and added context we never would have known. The van had great legroom and strong air conditioning, which mattered on a hot day.

Five-Star Paris Trip - Our Paris day trip felt no hassle from the second the van pulled up. Gustavo set a calm pace and the smoothness of his planning meant we never stood in a long line. His guide's knowledge made the Hall of Mirrors and the gardens make sense, not just look pretty. The van was spotless, quiet, and cool, a very comfortable reset between stops.

GREAT!!! - Our guide José picked us up at the Hotel with the driver and we were taken to Versailles, everything was on wheels. Joseph had a great knowledge of Versailles and the political and artistic aspects of the 17th and 18th century in France. I recommend this tour 100%😊😊

Palace of Versailles half day tour - The tour itself was very good and the guide Alessandro was great and he was very knowledgeable. However, we had some issues with the driver both at the beginning of the tour and at the end. We were being picked up at our hotel and were out the front of the hotel about 15 minutes before pick up. We didn’t see anyone out the front or at least we weren’t approached by anyone so we waited. We asked a couple of drivers if they were waiting to pick us up to take us to the Palace of Versailles they all said no including our driver. After our pick up time had passed I made a few calls to the tour company Viator and I was told that our driver was waiting for us. They gave me a few phone numbers for me to call the driver and guide. Eventually, after 10 minutes our driver approached us, we had spoken to him earlier but he had said no that he wasn’t there to pick us up. No apology from him. Anyway, after a number of texts from the company we got in the van and headed off to pick up the guide who had been sent to the wrong location so we had to pick him up. By the time we picked him up we were already half an hour late for the tour. We eventually arrived in Versailles. The tour itself was very good and Alessandro our guide was very knowledgeable and informative and answered all of our questions. I had informed him that we needed to be back at our hotel by 5.30pm because we had another engagement and needed to get ready as we were being picked up at 6.30pm. When we left the Palace of Versailles at 5.10pm our driver wasn’t there and we were told that he was running a few minutes late. After a few minutes had passed he called the driver who had informed him that he was 15 minutes away. At that point I became angry as it was going to make us late and gave us very little time to get ready before our taxi arrived to take us to our other engagement. I then spent the next 10-15 minutes trying to re-arrange our taxi pickup. Our driver eventually turned up at 5.50pm which was 15-20 minutes later than we were told. We voiced our frustration and disappointment regarding the driver’s lateness. Given this was a private tour and we paid a lot of money for it we could not understand why he had left in the first place and then that he took so long to come back to pick us up. This was unacceptable and it tarnished and ruined our entire experience. This is not good enough Viator!
