• Vernazza - At the designated meeting location, you will meet Alessandro, a local licensed hiking guide, who will reveal the hidden gems of Vernazza.
• Santuario di Nostra Signora di Reggio - From Vernazza, the group will traverse the ancient mule path that, in approximately an hour, leads to the Sanctuary of the Madonna of Reggio. Overlooking each village of the Cinque Terre, a Marian Shrine stands watch. These shrines preserve the deep spiritual and cultural roots of the Cinque Terre, to which the locals are deeply devoted.
  Just below the Sanctuary, there will be a stop to explore a beautifully restored olive grove belonging to Azienda Agricola la Bottega, which produces their Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Visitors will also have the chance to meet two adorable ponies, the mascots of the farm.
  Relaxing under the shade of a pear tree, guests can take a moment to enjoy a quick refreshment featuring focaccia, sample Ligurian extra virgin olive oil, and sip a glass of wine from Azienda Agricola la Bottega before continuing the descent back to the village.

Explore one of the lesser-known yet captivating trails of the Cinque Terre. After a brief but delightful stop in the village of Vernazza, the journey continues with a climb along the enchanting mule track to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Reggio, situated at an elevation of 330 meters and taking approximately one hour. Along the ascent, breathtaking views of the Cinque Terre coastline unfold, showcasing the iconic terraces supported by kilometers of dry stone walls, where olive trees and vines thrive to produce esteemed wines.

In the shaded Piazzale del Santuario, a monumental cypress, the oldest in Liguria, and a grand holm oak stand proudly. Before descending, a visit to the charming olive grove of Azienda Agricola la Bottega awaits, where extra virgin olive oil is crafted. This visit also offers the chance to meet two adorable ponies, the farm’s mascots. Under the shade of a pear tree, savor a glass of DOC 5 Terre wine paired with traditional Ligurian focaccia.
