Smooth transfer - Very smooth transfer right to our hotel door. We were slightly concerned as our flight was delayed (we did ring to alert them to this) and then it took ages (nearly 2hrs - 1 star, to get through customs) in the end though this didn’t create a problem. Very happy with the service provided.

Amazing memorable experience, friendly helpful staff - Our flight was an evening flight and due to arrive just before 9pm. Unfortunately it was delayed by 2 hours and so we were very late arriving into Marco Polo airport. I was travelling with my two small children, so was very worried about getting from the airport to the hotel late at night. I received a call from the lady working on the desk at the transfer company as soon as we had arrived and left the plane. She reassured me she was waiting for us (even though she should have gone home) and gave me instructions to get to the desk. We got there and she was very kind and friendly. She assured me she would find a boat even though it was late and she rang around to do that. She closed the desk and said she would get the boat with us home and walked us down to the docking point. Then we saw the boat and wow what an experience. It was like something out of a James Bond movie. Travelling on a luxury speedboat to our hotel. The lady told the driver where our hotel was and he dropped us off right outside the street where our hotel was. An absolutely amazing and memorable start to our trip and what a relief after the stress of the delayed flight. The lady's name was Ariano. Thank you so much for looking after us that night, Ariano!

Great service - Easy to book online with great information as to pick up etc. Friendly reception in airport right at the end of the walkway to the ferries, didn’t have to wait long for a boat which holds around 12 people with different drops in Venice. Good views of the city as traveling to it and not too bumpy 😂 great price compared to water taxi and just as convenient.

Terrible journey! - Make sure you get the voucher before you make the 10 minute journey on the moving walkways down to the waterway, otherwise you will have to go all the way back. We have booked this previously and there were 6 of us on the boat, and it was a great way to arrive in Venice. This time, they put 12 of us in the boat, plus all the cases, and it was a horrendous journey! Our case and contents got soaking wet, the boat was so low in the water with too many people, and the driver had to rearrange everyone to stop it being lopsided! It was a 50 minute journey being squashed in against strangers on seats too small for everyone, and getting wet from the spray coming in from the gap in the door, so this was not the way we wanted to arrive in Venice, and we had paid for this journey! Even the driver was shocked to have so many allocated to him - our experience was so bad this time, I would not recommend this service, and it could have easily upset our holiday.

Read the fine print - Despite the price (40 Euro/person) this was not a private transfer. I received no communication from the provider after booking. There was no-one at the airport to get us so I messaged the provider. I didn't get any response so I went to the water taxi terminal a 10 minute walk from the airport with luggage and 5 people...only to be told I needed to go back to the airport to arrange transportation. I had pre-paid and received a confirmation. After a 12 hour flight this was not ideal...we were then told we would be on a water taxi with other people and would be dropped off close to our destination. There were six bridges with stairs for us to haul our luggage over between where they dropped us and our apartment. Our place is on a canal with direct water access.

Don’t book Taxi boats ahead - Absolutely horrible! I had a piece of luggage left at the Madrid Airport where I had my layover. I stood in line to file the paperwork, another nightmare! After an hour and a half they said oh your luggage is here now! By the time I got to the water Taxi they were all extremely rude and not helpful at all. He told me $150 or no ride. Extremely rude and disappointing. So money lost and I was told when I messaged and chatted with a lady I had to get to them by 10pm. It would be fine. Not true!! So it ended up costing me $150.00 for a taxi then boat taxi to my hotel. Thankfully those 2 gentleman were simply amazing! So kind, sweet and redeemed Italy for me! I would never, ever suggest booking rides ahead unless you are already here and just need to get place to place! Horrible experience!!

Worst boat transportation - This was a horrible experience. We just arrived to Italy for a 10 day holiday. We met the boat guide at the pier. His first comments was “great a full boat” and with a disgusting look on his face and very rude. He proceeded to throw our luggage on the boat then took us towards Venice. He started making comments like you “you guys need to ask for a different taxi next time because you’re paying the same price if you just had 4 on the boat. I said the booking listed we would have 4-8 on the boast and that’s why we paid more. He said “no you’re wrong” then grabbed his phone and called someone and just talked to his friend the rest of the way although we were trying to ask questions. We ended up with 14 people shoved on this tiny boat. Worst experience for the first stop and first time in Italy. I then contacted the company for a refund or compensation and was told sorry nothing we are going to do about it. I hope at least this review will then reach more people since the company won’t do anything about it.

Transfer Experience in Venice - What a horrible experience. I followed the instructions in my transfer email for my arrival transfer to Venice hotel, only to be met with confusion, misinformation, and complete disorganization. The email mentioned a shared boat with a few passengers — but we were packed in with over 15 people on a small boat that clearly had a maximum capacity of 6. It was cramped, uncomfortable, and honestly felt unsafe. Even worse, the boat that was supposed to pick us up — labeled as “Boat 71” — was nonexistent. There were no directions explaining that we had to go to the first floor or walk about 20 minutes to reach the actual port. I ended up aimlessly following blue signs, hoping I was on the right path. For the amount of money I paid, it was an absolute rip-off. I would have been better off taking the public water ferry, which I actually did for my departure from Venice to airport. That ride was peaceful, scenic, and cost just €18 per person. No lines, no stress — and it even made lovely stops at Murano and Lido before reaching airport. Also, I want to point out: the positive reviews on this page are likely for private transfers, which are a completely different service. They don’t reflect the reality of this unregulated, overcrowded group transfer that many of us experienced. If you’re willing to spend that kind of money, skip the third-party booking sites like TripAdvisor. Once you arrive in Venice, just go straight to the blue and white water taxi booth signs on the first floor of the airport. You’ll have plenty of options, more control, and much better service. Venice is a stunning city with an easy-to-use public transport system, and locals are always happy to help if you have questions. Don’t waste your money — skip the overpriced transfers and take the public ferry or book your taxi directly when you get there.
