Great experience - Atena was a wonderful guide, who made the islands tour very worthwhile. She gave us history and shared many stories of what life is like in Venice.

Nice experience - Very nice experience. Very picturesque islands. Very interesting work with glass. On the way back there were interesting places for the guide to describe, but he did not; a shame.

Vist to Murrano & Brunno - Murrano and the glassblowing was fantastic. I did feel the owner of the company was in a hurry to get through the demonstration to get to the next tour. The art created is fabulous and watching the artisan was amazing. Would like to have had another 10 minutes observing the process. The articles on sale are most beautiful. The Visit to Brunno was more relaxed and we enjoyed walking around the town and visiting the shops, The lace work is amazing and stunning. Had a wonderful dinner at one of the restaurants with fresh fish.

Two guides trip but the French speaking guide gave a much better tour - Our English speaking tour guide said virtually nothing on the water taxi portion of the trip so it was very disappointing. We also would have preferred to spend more time on Murano rather than Burano.

The tour was uninformative, and poorly managed, making it a waste of money compared to exploring on your own - First of all, the staff was very rude in the beginning of the tour, making us feel stupid for asking questions. The lady who scanned our tickets was no help, giving one word answers, seemingly wanting us to give up on the tour as they already have your money. Than, we had to walk for an hour to the boat (it was marathon in the city that day), which could have been lovely if the guid said anything about the city we saw on the way. It would've been even longer if one lady didn't take charge to get us to the boat. We got earphones we never used because he didn't talk. The guid was actually overpriced boat driver. He is very nice, but disappointing. The tour was prolonged for two hours, making us late for a bus home. That wasn't their fault, it was because of the marathon, but we should have been notified earlier. It would've been fair if they explained situation and gave us a choice not to go with at least partial refund. The tour itself was rushed, the guid talked about something on the boat but we could hardly hear him. On the islands we were just left to wander on our own without any directions, to little time on Murano, too much on Burano. To conclude, it is smarter to go on your own. The ticket to the water bus is cheaper, you can manage your time as you wish and plan the trip better than this tour. I wish I saw a review like this one before I booked this.
