A wonderful way to spend a day - We had a lovely day, first walking through the market, then going to the operator's home and helping him cook fish, pasta and tiramisu. He was kind and engaging and patient and we had a wonderful day in his company. Highly recommended. I will certainly be using the techniques I learned today to cook when I get home. He even answered questions about other dishes from what was on the menu.

We enjoyed our morning... - We enjoyed our morning walking through the market with Lorenzo. We prepared fish and vegetables from the market and made fresh pasta from scratch. After preparing our meal we had a lovely lunch together and spent time just visiting in Lorenzo’s kitchen. An all-together memorable day!

Delightful, good food and perfect chef - Rosalina was fabulous. What a wonderful way to spend a morning! Nothing like picking out a fresh fish and cooing it. We made pasta with semolina. Simple but delicious.

Cooking fun in Venice - Rosanna was a wonderful tour guide of the Rialto Market and a terrific instructor for the hands-on cooking class. The pasta and tiramisu were fun to make and delicious to eat. All of the participants worked well together and had a very enjoyable time!

The market through a locals eyes - Our tour guide/chef was wonderful . She gave us an insiders and locals look at the market. The walk to the kitchen was enjoyable and the food we cooked was delicious. I never made pasta before but her instruction was clear and helped us make a delicious lunch!

Cooking with Lorenzo - Lorenzo was an absolute joy and the group had a really lovely time learning how to make ravioli, artichoke hearts and fish and tiramisu. The tour of the market was great but also sad to see how this livlihood has diminished over the years. I did end up buying some regional favorites. We had a great time! Everyone should take a cooking class with Lorenzo!
