• One Day In Venezia - This workshop is held at Carta Alta, an artisanal mask-making studio renowned for crafting masks featured in popular films like “Gossip Girl”, “Fifty Shades of Black”, and “Spider-Man Far From Home”.

The experience begins with a brief overview of the history of Venetian masks, highlighting the most historically significant models: the “Commedia dell’Arte” masks, the “Bauta”, the “Moretta”, and the “Dottore della Peste”.
Following this introduction, participants will learn about the primary techniques used in mask decoration, with a special focus on our signature “baroque technique”.

A diverse selection of paper-mache masks will be available for participants to choose from, and our friendly expert team will guide them in creating a handmade masterpiece to take home.

There will be ample opportunity to ask questions, and we are eager to share our knowledge of this ancient Venetian craft. Explanations will be tailored to the age and interests of the participants. Remember, participants are welcome to take photos with their creations and our famous masks to share with friends.
