An expert local chef, selected for their enthusiasm and intuitive teaching style, will guide you through this Italian culinary journey. They will share their deep knowledge of Venice and its culinary traditions as you hone your skills at the worktop and stove, without relying on dull recipe books.
You’ll follow and indulge in a menu of simple cucina casalinga (home-cooking) crafted with the freshest seasonal ingredients. Dishes may feature specialties like Fondi di Carciofo from Sant’Erasmo, possibly Prawns in Saor, Risotto with Bruscandoli or Asparagus, Homemade Pasta alla Busara, and a delightful Tiramisu.
Cooking classes are held in our dedicated space, situated in a peaceful, relaxed fondamenta by the canal.

Each season has its ingredients and each Italian festivity has its dishes and together we’ll create the most iconic examples of Venetian cuisine in line with long-held family traditions passed down through generations.
We’ll talk about the history of Venetian cookery and the abundance of ingredients sourced from the Venetian Lagoon and, through sharing and cooking together, you’ll discover the secrets of preparing a selection of exquisite local dishes that you’ll be able to recreate at home on your return.
