• Plum Plum Creations di Arianna Sautariello - I will show you all the work behind an art print: from the initial drawing to the final print, I will show you a couple of videos, then I will explain the necessary steps to get a chalcographic print, until you have the actual print in front of the your eyes (DURATION: 20 MINUTES).

IMPORTANT: This is a demonstration of only 20 minutes: participants will not have an active part in the demonstration, they will only be able to watch and ask questions, of course!

Arianna is among the few remaining Venetian artisans who continue to print as they did in the 15th century. When visiting Venice, don’t miss the chance to journey back in time to the era of the “Serenissima.”

Visit Arianna at her art studio, a traditional printing house located on Fondamenta dei Ormesini in the Cannaregio district, and experience a full press session with her. You’ll be captivated by the ambiance, the colors, the aromas, and the meticulous work involved in creating a single print.

The entire process of creating an art print will be demonstrated: from the initial drawing, through the various stages of processing to achieve a chalcographic engraving, until the final print is revealed before your eyes.
