Murano Glass Tour by boat - I was skeptical about spending 3-4 hours watching glass being blown but what a fabulous experience this was. Loved learning about the artistry and process but The real magic of the day was meeting iur guide Gianluca who was exceptional. He knows so much about the culture and area and really went above and beyond to take great care of us. Do yourself a favor and request him

Delightful! Giovanni greeted us warmly at our lodging! - Terrific guide, Giovanni, contacted us to confirm our pick up spot. Walked us to the water taxi, gave us interesting information during the ride to the island. Handed us over to the guide, Erica, at the glass blowing shop. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the talented artists creating art and beauty. Then we visited the 5 showrooms filled with stunning pieces available for purchase. Giovanni then walked us to the water bus station to ensure we knew how to get back to Venice. Terrific tour! Highly recommend Giovanni! 😀

An absolute must, with best tour guide. - This was an excellent tour. An absolute must whilst in Venice. Great value for money. What made it most special was our tour guide Giovanni, he was knowledgable, polite and went over and above what was expected. Definitely bring cash and negotiate in the factory, the glassware is stunning.

Great value for the price - We received a short private tour of a glass blowing shop and one way private boat ride. Our guide (Daisy or maybe Desi sorry I did not see her name) was friendly, chatty, knowledgeable . She answered many questions and returned with us to Venice. She helped us figure out the vaporetto and got us ahead of the crowd. Murano is not the greatest place ever but I enjoyed the stories from our guide and I am now very impressed by the skill of the glass blowing artists

Enjoyable Morning Water Taxi Tour to Murano Glass Works - Our guide, Gianluca promptly met us in our hotel lobby near the Grand Canal. We walked over the canal and through the railway station with him while he gave us some historical information about the railroad and nearby housing that had been used by the workers. This was interesting as we had not explored the northern section of Venice previously. We got to where the water taxi was parked after about a 15 minute leisurely walk. It was a pleasant ride over to Murano while Gianluca gave us some information about the lagoon islands. The visit to the glass factory was outstanding, there was only one other couple present while the master glass blower created both a vase and horse using different techniques. Of course there was a tour through the factory showroom with exquisite and expensive glass creations. We rejoined our guide and re-boarded the water taxi to transit to Sam Marco square. Gianluca spent additional time with us while listening to the wonderful band at Cafe Florian. He then accompanied us to a nice restaurant for lunch. The experience was quite nice overall and Gianluca provided a lot of informative information along the way.
