Murano in style - Fast and efficient way of getting to Murano. Interesting background from guide in Venice, on taxi boat and in Murano. Great introduction at factory, superb skill in glassblowing and awesome art to buy (brace yourself for the cost though).

Great tour! The hotel... - Great tour! The hotel pickup by our host was right on time, and the private taxi to Murano allowed us to see some of Venice from the water, which is a great way to see it! Full transparency, this tour seems to be sponsored by, or at least co-created by the glass factory we visited, as a way to encourage purchase at the factory showrooms (which we did). However, our guide at the factory was friendly and did not pressure us into buying. The glass blowing demo was great!

5-star experience with Federico - Federico was the perfect guide and host! He picked us up at our hotel and we had a wonderful private tour of Murano and a glass blowing demonstration. He also gave us numerous recommendations for restaurants, bakeries and bars, which we have been happily enjoying during your stay! Definitely a five star experience!

Talented craftsmanship and a well-organised tour! - Eleonora was a fantastic tour guide. Her Venice knowledge was superb and she was able to answer all our questions in great detail. The tour itself was well put together and we never felt rushed, and had plenty of time to enjoy all aspects. The only downside we had was in the glass factory souvenir shop, where we experienced very pushy sales tactics - very disappointing! However, this wasn't related to Eleonora/the tour operator as the sales tactics came from those who worked in the factory.

We visited a manufacturer... - We visited a manufacturer in Murano and they showed us how they styled and blew glass. Extremely impressive. In addition, they allowed us to experience making a glass object. It was exciting and it gave us an appreciation for how difficult it is to create the beautiful Murano glass work. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Let down by glass blowing demonstration. - The tour guide (can't remember his name) was fantastic, very friendly and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed our tour around Morano with him. Pick up was on time and we had a great journey to Morano . We arrived for the glass blowing demo, but we only had 5 minutes there,as they had nearly finished. So we didn't get to see the vase being made, only the end results. Was so disappointed as it was on a wish list, to experience experts at work. He did make a glass for us but felt let down. Went to the shop and saw the amazing pieces. Felt pressured to buy an expensive item from the shop assistant, would rather have been left to browse and shop at our own leisure. We did buy 2 horses, and found when we returned home 1 of the tails had broken, which we are now unable to display. Date of tour. April 4th 2025. Richard Hack.

Murano Glass Factory was incredible / tour guide not so much - A 5/5 for our time at the Murano glass factory and 2/5 for the time spent with the guide on the transfer to and from the island of Murano. Our early entry into the factory to observe the glass blowing was mesmerizing and allowed us the opportunity to interact with the owner and a master glass blower. Our guide, whose only role was to accompany us on the water taxi, was more interested in telling us what she knows and touting her education than answering our questions. Her insistence on dropping us off at where she felt we should spend our time versus where we asked her to drop us off was rude.

Private wasn’t worth it - The glass demonstration was super cool. I’m only giving a 2 because there’s really no need to book a private tour. That was kind of a waste of money. Someone just accompanies you to go to get the demonstration then walks you back through the city. Kind of uncomfortable actually.

Don’t bother. - You can get a taxi and go by yourself. The guide sat outside. The was a nice demonstration of glass blowing and then you are escorted into a showroom. The gentleman was irritated when he realized we weren’t purchasing. Not a great experience.

Pressured Rip-Off - This is a rip-off. It is just a trip to get you to buy Venetian glass at the factory you tour, There was a lot of pressure from our tour “guide” to purchase items as he gets a commission. Find a different tour to view this interesting island.
