• Auronzo di Cadore - The first stage of our day, after having passed through enchanting mountain villages for almost 2 hours, we will make a short stop of about 30 minutes to admire and take a short walk along the coast of the crystal clear waters of Lake Auronzo, which also thanks to the chain Marmarole mountain range, welcome us to the Dolomites.

One of the most interesting aspects of Lake Auronzo is its geological history. The lake was formed by a glacier that carved a deep basin in the valley during the last ice age, leaving behind a breathtaking landscape that continues to attract visitors from all over the world. Lake Auronzo is the largest lake in Cadore, with a surface area of about 1.7 sq km.
