Glass and Lace - Our guide was very sweet and informative. She told us history and facts about the area. Great job on her part. I was disappointed in the glass blowing example, as I have seen similar examples. The glass the showed us how to make sold for $120 in the store. The museum was wonderful but they did not show any glass blowing techniques to the pieces of artwork in the store. It was almost like a quick demo then on to buying in the shop. For Famous Murano glass blowing I was not impressed. The jewelry and items to buy were very expensive. Almost like the tour created for you to pay to shop. Loved the little island of Burano but the stores closed shortly after we got there. The lace was interesting to see, but only one girl demonstrating her technique then again ready for you to pay $250 for a lace butterfly. The best part of the tour was the guide talking , visiting the island and the boat ride. They need to reduce their products in price.

Relaxing and enriching experience - Because we had a private tour, we were able to tailor the experience to what we most wanted to explore. Our guide, Alessandra was able to provide interesting and detailed commentary and information on all of the portions of the tour. The Murano glass demonstration was exceptionally informative as was the information about lace making on the island of Burano. We also had time to souvenir shop, enjoy a relaxing lunch and experience what we wanted to see on both beautiful islands. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

Great tour - Claire our tour guide was exceptional. We enjoyed both stops just the right amount of time. The tour is only as good as the guide and she was fantastic. Both places were interesting

Fantastic tour - We did the Murano and Burano tour with Serena who was a fantastic guide. On the way to Murano Island Serena provided us with information about the past history and present in relation to Venice. The Murano glass factory is very interesting and the visit to the gallery amazing. Burano Island is gorgeous very pretty with many colourful houses. After a visit to the lace shop we had free time to wonder the streets. I would recommend this tour to any one coming to Venice.

Murano and Burano are worth the time and effort, especially when you’re fortunate enough to have an excellent guide. - Our tour guide, Susanne, was awesome! She provided so much information about the two islands from start to finish. I give her the highest marks for her extraordinary competence, subject knowledge, and congeniality!

10/10 Experience! - This was such an incredible experience and our guide Elena was absolutely amazing in every way! My husband and I enjoyed every moment learning about the history of Murano & Burano and loved being able to explore both islands with someone who clearly had a deep love, admiration & knowledge of both islands. The tour was the perfect amount of time, not too long & not too short and Elena was amazing at giving just the right amount of information without being overwhelming. It was an absolutely magical morning filled with so much beauty and I would do it over again 100 times!

A lot of history, shopping and a scenic boat ride. - We had landed late morning, dropped our bags at the hotel and made a dash to the meeting place to be on time. When I found the tour guide, she was so gracious as I joined an earlier tour than scheduled. I think her name was romi (?) Pleasant, waited for my husband as we are a little older and slower. Our guide was very informative.

Great trip to Murano and Burano - Lovely trip to the 2 islands. We enjoyed the visit to the Murano glass factory and the demonstration was really interesting. If the items at the factory are not in budget, I would recommend visiting some of the shops which are just 10 minutes walk away. Next was Burano where we had a great lunch at Galuppi’s. Unfortunately, the time went very quickly and we did not have enough time to browse around. Another half hour would have been better. Our guide, Eva was friendly and knowledgeable and the overall trip was worth doing.
