- Campo Santa Maria Formosa - Departing from the square, you will be led into the residential Castello area, where you can explore this elegant part of Venice through its maze of narrow alleys - “calli”, numerous bridges, winding canals, and expansive picturesque squares - “campi”.
Expect to discover Campo Santa Maria Formosa, one of the largest squares in Venice, featuring its church, named after the visitation of the Holy Virgin.
- Basilica dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo (San Zanipolo) - At Campo Santi Giovanni and Paolo, you will admire the renowned church, the final resting place of several Doges, and the equestrian monument of Bartolomeo Colleoni, an Italian mercenary captain.
- Casa di Marco Polo - Visit the former residence of Marco Polo in Corte Seconda del Milion, arguably the most famous Venetian merchant.
- Teatro Malibran - The Malibran Theatre (viewed externally) is also included in the itinerary. The theatre of San Giovanni Grisostomo was constructed in just four months at the end of 1677. It has undergone numerous renovations, with the 1919 renovation giving us the theatre as it is known today.
