A Comfortable and Well-Organized Day Trip to Veliko Tarnovo - Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience on this tour. I was actually the only participant that day, but the guide was very professional and made sure I had a smooth and comfortable trip from Sofia to Veliko Tarnovo and back. The itinerary gave plenty of time to explore the city at a relaxed pace, and I especially appreciated the free time, which allowed me to visit places beyond the scheduled stops. Having the flexibility to explore on my own made the experience much more enjoyable. One thing I found disappointing was that the Church of the Holy Forty Martyrs, one of the most historically significant sites in Veliko Tarnovo, was only briefly mentioned through the audio guide from outside and was not included as a proper stop. I mentioned this to the tour company, and they explained that most visitors were not very interested in the church, so it had been removed from the itinerary. I ended up visiting it during my free time, and I'm glad I did. Even if it's no longer a regular stop, it would be nice if the guide could at least ask the group whether they would like to visit it or simply pass by. Visiting Tsarevets Fortress together was definitely a highlight, and I was also impressed by the church at the top, where the murals clearly reflect the influence of the communist era. Although it wasn't part of the tour, I also enjoyed visiting the wax museum at the Visitor Center during my free time. Overall, I was very satisfied with the tour. As a small suggestion, it would be great if the tour could also introduce a place where visitors can taste Bulgarian wine or traditional spirits, as I think that would make the overall cultural experience even richer.

Wonderful trip to the historical capital - The experience is amazing Safe transportation to Veliko Tarnovo Clear guidelines on using the audio guide with a lot of photo opportunities Perfect stop at the end to enjoy a panoramic view of the amazing town. Had sufficient lunch time to relax. My favourite city in Bulgaria.
