Without Question....don't hesitate, just book this experience - This was our fifth day in Puerto Rico and we had done several things prior to our tour of Cueva Charco Azul. It was without question, the best and most memorable thing that we have done on our trip and something that our family will never forget. If you're coming to the Puerto Rico area, I can't stress enough that you need to include this excursion as part of your plans, otherwise you will be really missing out. Our tour operators (Albert and Rafa) treated us like friends and family from the moment we met them and I knew right away that we made the right decision by booking our tour with NaturHabitat. It was exciting, enlightening, educational and they insured our safety at all times. Please book a tour with them if you're anywhere in the area as you will not be sorry. This truly was the highlight of our trip to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico.

More Than Five Stars Truly Amazing Experience - If the rating system allowed it, I would absolutely give this experience more than five stars. It was truly unforgettable. I joined this tour on my own, and Rafa made it an outstanding experience from start to finish. This was far more than a hike. It was a deep and immersive journey into nature, caves, rivers, and the history and ecology of the area. Every moment felt engaging, meaningful, and thoughtfully guided. Safety was clearly a top priority, which allowed me to relax and fully enjoy the adventure. The group size was small and comfortable, and Rafa’s knowledge, passion, and genuine respect for the environment truly stood out. Communication before, during, and after the tour was smooth and professional. If you are looking for an authentic, educational, and memorable adventure that does not feel like a typical tourist activity, I highly recommend Rafa’s tour. It was one of the highlights of my time in Puerto Rico, and I would happily join again.

A perfect excursion - Me and my family just finished our Puerto Rico vacation over the Christmas break. This is certainly a tour that looking back, was the highlight of the trip. Joe was our guide and he was "almost" perfect in every way other than being a Chicago Bears fan..... ;) He was informative, great sense of humor, helpful in trekking the river, leading us on cliff jumps and witty comments to encourage out of some of our comfort zone but never pushy. My wife hates water and can't swim but we all feel great about the tour. One of my deciding factor for choosing this tour was I can drive myself to meet up as I want to have the flexibility before and after the tour to do something local. You can choose to be picked up too from the San Juan area. We were given advise for local eats and beach to go. And the beach that we went, was absolutely the best beach on our trip. We have met a few other tours during our 4 hours in the areas. None of them provided the gears that we had and explore to the extend that we did. We had the helmet, life jacket and head lights for a pitch dark cave. All the other tours that we have came across, at most have the life jacket and nothing else. I did not know about this before choosing the tour and in retrospect, it was the best decision!

1000/1000 !! Highlight of our whole trip ! - 1000/1000 Highly recommend!! I came with my two kids 7/8 and husband and we had the absolute best day with Albert. In fact, our tour was the highlight of our trip ! And if you’re an adventure seeker , this is your sign to DO IT !!! He spent the day with us - took several pictures and was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and skilled in the caves! We saw Taino markings, fossils, bats, bugs, fish and flora ! He was able to explain everything with so much depth and information. My husband lost his phone 20 ft down and he helped us look for an hour. Despite not finding it , he was confident we’d have it back the next day. (It was found by someone else before the tour was over!) Nevertheless, this is a moderate tour but he’s able to modify it to your needs . My kids who are adventurous were so confident with Mr. Albert they both did the jumps into the water and wanted to keep jumping ! He felt like a beloved uncle and took care of us the whole day ! I couldn’t have asked for more on this trip and can’t wait for bring my family from back home to experience a day with this company . They come prepared and move at your pace !!! Would do this again! - Alberto was so knowledgeable! He stopped to talk about many different plants and animals local to PR. Alberto made sure we took our time during the tour and ensured everyone’s safety! The tour took us to amazing spots and there was little to no people so it felt more like a private tour!

Awesomeness!!! - Exciting, Educational, Physically Stimulating, Entertaining - I would rate this hike, tour, or adventure an exceptional 6 if the rating system allowed it. Yes, it was that incredible! Albert and his team were truly remarkable. It was like hiking and exploring with the dream team—Indiana Jones and Jacques Cousteau. We had a fantastic time on this moderately challenging hike, but we also learned a lot about the river, caves, indigenous people, wildlife, and even some archaeology about the area. The primary reason I’m writing this review is to recognize and share the efforts of those who stand out in a crowd. Here are a few reasons why we thoroughly enjoyed our time with Albert and his team: 1. Safety was our top priority. Everyone received a floatation aid and helmet, which may seem excessive at first, but when you consider that you’ll be exploring caves in the water, you appreciate the equipment. It’s more enjoyable to let the “life preserver” do the work so you can fully immerse yourself in the environment. 2. Albert’s event was unlike a typical “touristy” hike. He and his team of biologists and educators shared information that was fact-based and came from a place of authenticity. Their genuine love and respect for the magnificent outdoor spaces we explored was evident. 3. The group size was limited to under 15 people, creating an intimate and comfortable atmosphere, unlike many other tour options. 4. There was excellent communication before, during, and even after the event. If you’re seeking a family-friendly, exhilarating, and educational adventure that’s safe, entertaining , and educational, look no further. Call Albert and reserve your spot. I didn't fail in choosing them - I had a spectacular day. Since I contacted them they treated me very well. Enrique (the tour guide) was excellent. Since I was alone, she was always looking out for me and taking care of me. Enrique is very knowledgeable about our ecosystem and very funny. The group I shared with was also very good. I hope to repeat another tour with them soon.

From start to finish, this tour exceeded all expectations and became one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Albert, our guide, was truly phenomenal. We felt completely safe and cared for the entire time. There was even a chance to jump off a cliff into the water which was really exciting for my husband and two kids but not so much for me. Albert was wonderfully encouraging, but also completely respectful when I opted out. Instead of making me feel left out or embarrassed, he kindly guided me to an alternate route, making sure I still felt included and comfortable. The natural beauty of the caves combined with Albert’s thoughtful guidance made this experience truly magical. If you’re on the fence about which tour to book, look no further. This is the one.
