Private tour 2 days in Rome - I recently had a client book this trip, They advised me that it was one of the best tours they have ever had. Everything about it was perfect from the transportation to the person giving the information. It was 2 couples and it was perfect for them. I would definitely use them again and I would definitely recommend them

Incredible Rome - This was our favorite tour of our vacation. Our guide, Richard, made our time so enjoyable. A couple of us weren't able to attend part of the tour. Richard was able to work with his people to get us lined up to finish the tour before our departure. We were so thankful for their quick response to our request.

Amazing Inside Scoop of all of the Highlights of Rome - This tour was better than we ever expected it to be. We toured Rome in January and were told that we needed skip the line tours to avoid long wait times. For that reason, we booked this tour. It turns out that the lines were not bad this time of year; hoewver, we made such a great decision in booking this 2 day tour. We had a private driver Florido who drove us all around Rome for the 2 day experience. The 1st day we saw Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon before he dropped us off for lunch and our private tour of the Vatican. In addition to these spots, he took us to various other places in Rome where he stopped for some good pictures and pointed out some interesting sites. He took us to the key hole where you can see the St George Basillica. He was knowledgable about Roman history, but his main goal was to drive and explain things in a little bit of detail. There was a definite language barrier but it did not harm the experience. We were dropped off for lunch and told how to meet up with our guide by the Vatican museum. Maura was such an amazing guide. She started by showing us pictures of what we would see inside the Sistine Chapel and explaining a lot about Michelangelo and Raphael and their relationship with the various Popes. She was very down to earth and informative. We toured the Vatican museum where she talked a lot about the history of the sculptures, paintings, and other decorations. We then went through the original Pope's apartments and through the Sistine Chapel. We knew what we were looking for in the Sistine Chapel because of her explanations. Had I walked through on my own, I would not have appreciated the details. After we left the Chapel, we went to the Basillica. She explained a lot about various areas inside the Basillica as well and pointed out the steps where that the Pope's use. She also showed us St Peter's Square and explained details there as well. She stayed in touch with our driver so that she could make a warm handoff for us and we didn't have to worry about getting lost. He took us back to our hotel and picked us up there at 9AM the next morning for our second day of touring. He took us to the Catacombs of San Callisto where he made sure to buy our tickets and show us where to wait for our guide there. We had a small group with just us and one other couple (I believe because of the time of year that we were there). After that he drove us to the church where St Peter's chains are. From there, he took us to a place where we could eat lunch and showed us where and when we needed to check in to meet our guide for the remainder of our touring experience. Our guide Andy was booked as a private tour gudie through Tour In the City, Tour in the City took great care of us as well. We had checked in a little early and they gave us a few treats before Andy arrived. Andy teaches medieval art history at the University and had incredible depth of knowledge regarding the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum. We met a couple at an experience that we had the next day who were less than impressed with their Colosseum experience. Ours was remarkable as we were able to understand who built the structure, how it was built, why it was designed the way it was, and how the games themselves worked. We were in awe at the Collosseum. BUt this awe continued through the remainder of our time with Andy. He was personable and asked us a lot of questions along the way. Plus took many great picutres of us together at these sites. Both days were very entertaining. We had many laughs and jokes along the way. We know no Italian and there was no language barrier whatsoever with either of the guides. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone and everyone. We believe it changed and enhanced our whole experience in Rome.

If you want to see everything with help - Excellent team. Thorough, knowledgeable, friendly. We got to see all the famous sites, the Vatican, the ancients, and with the transportation, jumping lines, and the stories you just couldn’t do this alone

Great side tours and guides - Catacombs, Vatican city, coliseum, Rome forum..all of these special tours were great and Richard and Angela were fantastic. Our driver was terrible..gave us bad directions to meet our guides. He showed up first day and sat in car and talked on phone for 30 minutes..we didn't even know he was our driver until I interrupted his phone call. Second day he made us jaywalking across very busy street to get in car. I know he was advertised as driver and not a guide but what is purpose of a two hour driving tour when he doesn't give us information. Much cheaper and just as good if we bought the three private tours on our own and got a taxi or Uber

Not best value - The tour schedule was changed and tour started 1.5 hours later that itinerary showed. The driver barely spoke English, so the driven tours were largely a waste. Thankfully, the private guide for both Vatican Museum and Colosseum / Forum was very good. Also the no line access was a great benefit. Think you can pull this tour better and more economically independently

Tour guides are not knowledgeable. Total scam - Only good thing about this tour was the driver Marco. The rest is a total scam. Tour guides are not knowledgeable. Skip the line was just a gimmic. Don't do it

Very misleading! - I would have rated this tour a 4 if it weren't for the fact that the first part of our tour was horrible. We were to receive our final details a few days before and never did. They changed our pick up time by 1 1/2 hours and we found out the morning of while we were waiting for them to show up. Our driver was supposed to be English speaking, and spoke no English at all. They said he was just the "driver". He took us around the city for 3 hours and we had no idea what we were seeing, due to the language barrier. I requested a 25 % refund because of this, and Viator refused because he was just supposed to be the driver........ We are very disappointed after spending so much money for this tour. I would advise you to look elsewhere for a private tour.
