Very prepared guides - The visit of the Colosseum was excellently narrated by Luisa, a very trained and respectful person. The visit to the Vatican Museum , Sistine Chapel and C.de San Pedro, is made with Silvia Di Angeli. We found it an enriching and enjoyable experience because of Silvia’s predisposition and knowledge from which we left in wonder!

Combined package coliseum and Vatican - Excellent!!! The only thing I lost was the group leaving the Sistine chapel to the Saint Peter's Square, so that way they could indicate well at that moment that you have to grab on the other hand... everything else, impeccable

Francesco guided coliseum and Roman Forum tour - Visited Rome September 2019. Our first booked excursion was a guided tour of the Colosseum and the Roman forum. This was a fantastic experience we really enjoyed it. Our guide Francesco from the start was amazing offering a abundance of knowledge whilst allowing us to ask questions whenever we needed. The day was great and can’t thank the tour group and Francesco enough for a great day.

Ask for tour guide Gabriel - Gabriel made my first trip to Rome (on a very hot day) a delightful and extremely informative experience. He became a friend offering information in a way that made me want to listen and learn. When my niece mentioned she had already been to the Vatican several times, he took it upon himself to make sure she saw things she had never seen before. Super professional and so charismatic!! We could not have gotten a better, more thorough tour experience. Definitely ask for Gabriel!!

Vatican Tour with Marco - Type of visit: family (adults) Marco, our guide, was excellent. Very attentive to each tourist in the group, he answered all the questions and brought information, culture and adapted historical anecdotes. He shared his passion and knowledge about the Vatican. His French was fair and correct. I highly recommend it.

Awesome tour, definitely recommend! - It was the best tour I've ever done, our tour guide Tiziana was awesome. She was so knowledgeable about the colosseum and other sites we visited. Very energetic and involved the group. The tour itself was fascinating and I learnt so much. I just wish that I could do more guided tours with her!! Got a free water at the start then there were heaps of refill stations. Rate that highly.

The excursion times must be improved, but the staff very good - In the morning Colosseum, forum and palatine, with the guide Manuel, very nice and great knowledge of history, explained very well. But we spent a lot of time in Colosseum and little time in the forum and palatine. It should be better spread out. Then I hardly had time to eat and had to go on the Vatican tour in the afternoon. In the afternoon the excursion lasted 3 hours, if you think about how long it takes to get to the Vatican, and that I was at the end 45 minutes in the basilica, there is just 1 hour of museums and 10 minutes of clock of Sistine Chapel. Which is too quick to enjoy. However, the very nice guide Ali from Cuba could be seen to like art, and explained very well. In short, excursions that should be readjusted in time, in that sense a little disappointing because there is one left wanting more. But very good staff, with good knowledge.

BUYER BEWARE, Deceptive advertising. AVOID BUYING TOURS HERE - I had a feeling this tour company was going to be problematic when we first walked in and there were two lines - one line to check-in for tours and another line for lodging grievances and complaints - and the complaints line was twice as long as the check-in line. We picked this tour because it advertised that it started at 10:30 AM and the duration was 5 hours. There were numerous other tours listed, but this is one of the few that said it was only 5 hours. This allowed us plenty of time to attend this tour, possibly do some shopping, and return to our cruise ship. Well, unfortunately, our taxi driver got lost so we were 25 minutes late to start the tour. By being late this meant we could not attend the Colosseum portion of the tour. So we asked could we join the Vatican portion of the tour when they met for that part of tour. This is where the discrepancy came in. Yes, we could attend the Vatican portion but it would not start until 3:30 PM. When we asked how could that be when the tour was supposed to end at 3:30 PM, we were told the tour is not 5 hours as advertised but more like 7.5 hours. Well, had we known that we would not have booked this tour. I showed the woman the link we used to book the tour and it clearly showed a duration of 5 hours. She then asked her "manager" about a partial refund since we could not attend the Vatican portion of the tour, and of course, we were denied that. In subsequent emails with Trip Advisor they have told me it is my fault for not a) calling ahead to confirm the tour was truly 5 hours even though they advertised it as such, and b) I was supposed to call ahead and alert them I would be arriving by cruise and then they would have supposedly advised me against taking this tour. Of course none of these suggestions is on the reservations page. Basically, according to TripAdvisor and Viator it is my fault they advertised the tour as 5 hours and I booked the tour thinking it would fit my schedule. My advice is find a tour guide on-site so you can see what you are getting up front, and avoid these misleading and deceptive companies.
