10/10 Stars!!! - If we could give this experience 10/10 stars, we absolutely would. From start to finish, this was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy. We took a quick 5-minute train from Varenna to Bellano for the class, and Patrizia made everything seamless by providing multiple taxi recommendations that were easy to contact and book. Our driver, Luca, was incredibly kind and accommodating, making getting to and from the class stress-free. The moment we arrived, Patrizia and her husband welcomed us into their beautiful home like family. It was such a cold and rainy day, but they made everything feel so warm and cozy with a fire going and even slippers for us to wear. Within minutes, we felt completely at home. We were joined by another small group, and the five of us quickly became friends while cooking together. Patrizia and her husband were so patient, fun, and passionate while teaching us their family recipes and cooking techniques. Beyond the cooking itself, they shared so much about their backgrounds, the local culture, and life in Italy, which made the experience feel even more special and personal. And the food… absolutely unforgettable. Everything we made was beyond delicious, and there was something so special about preparing it all together from scratch. We were already talking about recreating the recipes back home in the States for our family and friends. They made sure we had everything we needed the entire time, drinks, ingredients, guidance, and such genuine hospitality. By the end of the night, we were sad for it to be over (and sad there wasn’t more food left because it was THAT good). This experience was worth every single penny, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting the Lake Como area. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience!

Authentically Italian evening ! - A lovely evening with Patrizia and Luka. The menu was simple , the instructions were clear and the food was delicious. A beautiful hillside setting overlooking Lake Como just outside Varenna. We joined a family of 5 for this experience and it really added to the enjoyment of the evening. A night to remember and an experience we highly recommend ! Ciao Patti & Steve

Amazing cooking class in Varenna, Italy! - My husband and I had the best time at our cooking class with Monica today!! Highly recommend for couples or small groups. It was totally valuable for what we paid - we got appetizers/prosecco to start, salad, and learned to make ravioli and tiramisu. Wine was included! Monica is so sweet, very knowledgeable and was an incredible host. Worth every penny!

We honestly had such a... - We honestly had such a lovely time with Patrizia. She made us feel so comfortable from the moment we arrived, like we were visiting someone we already knew. The food was delicious and everything felt so warm and genuine. You can really feel the care she puts into what she does. It was a beautiful experience and something we’ll definitely remember. Wonderful experience - We had such a wonderful experience at this cooking class in Bellano, Italy. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel genuinely welcomed like guests in her own home rather than just participants in a class. She was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, guiding us with patience and care every step of the way. You can truly sense her passion for cooking and for sharing that joy with others. What stood out most was her kindness. Not only did she send us all the recipes the very same day, but she even walked us to the bus stop and made sure we got where we needed to such a thoughtful gesture that speaks volumes about her character. This was more than just a cooking class; it was a memorable and heartfelt experience. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Awesome experience!🍝 - Monica was an amazing host. We got lost with the directions we received..she went out of her way to meet us 30 mts later. Class and recipes were from her grandmother. So great to learn from grandmother recipes. We can’t wait to try when we get back to the states. Definitely enjoyed!

Authentic, fun and delicious! Can't wait to try my new skills at home. - I spent an absolutely delightful evening with Veronica. She told me the word "Cesarine" is associated with the stewardship and passing on of cultural traditions, and her passion for and enjoyment of this was so clear. Everything was so nicely prepared for our session, and I really loved making the pasta and tiramisu together...and it was delicious, too! I felt very welcomed into her home, for an experience that was personal and authentic. But also everything was very professional, too, with her kitchen lab a bit separate from the main family home. Definitely a, maybe even the highlight of my trip to Italy. Highly recommend!!

Vincenzo is the best host ever! - What an incredible experience! From the amazing view of Lake Como we enjoyed from Vincenzo's balcony to the scrumptious meal we helped to prepare (we made two different types of pasta that Vincenzo turned into dishes that delighted our tastebuds! and tiramisu!), our time in his kitchen was the perfect ending to our stay in this beautiful part of the country. We even left with instructions on how to make the lemoncello back home in the states - he served this to us as a final treat for the evening. Salute!

A warm, welcoming, and delicious experience - This was the highlight of our two week trip to Italy. Carolina and Simona are warm and welcoming hosts. We were delighted to see how real Italians live . Carolina is a wonderful and patient teacher, and our meal was delicious.

DO NOT BOOK THIS EVENT- FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! - DO NOT BOOK THIS EVENT!!! TOTAL FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! this is what I just sent to Trip Advisor: 1)FALSE ADVERTISEMENT….Your advertisement stated that the venue had a sea view… it did not as it was in a dark, cold ,small cellar with no views of anything! 2) Your advertisement picture was obviously a stock one which certainly did not represent the venue or experience whatsoever… 3)The so called “cooking prep table” was maybe 32” square which was very crowded for 4 guests and the instructor… your photo shows multiple people having fun cooking…. this venue is not capable of hosting more than 4 guests.. 4) The instructor did 95% of the cooking…. we were primarily spectators with hardly any hands on fun…the couple from the USA who joined us felt the same way as we did. 5) Some foods were prepared the night before by the instructor such as pesto and grains for salad with no explanation as to how to prepare them… 6) We were not provided recipes of anything upon our departure. 7) It was not a cooking class whatsoever … the instructor stated to us “now have a seat in my restuarant as I finish preparing the ravioli and enjoy your wine” 8) We spent most of our time sitting at the dining table chatting with the other two guests verses cooking 9) The posted reviews reference other instructor names and location as compared to ours…. totally not what is advertised. 10) We feel that we’re totally ripped off by this experience given what we paid for it. Again, this was a falsely advertised experience by Trip advisor and we expect a full refund…
