Highlight of our trip! - Our family had a wonderful time at La Paz Waterfall Gardens. The park is beautifully maintained, and the waterfalls are absolutely stunning. We loved walking the trails together and seeing the animals up close, especially the butterflies and wildlife exhibits. Everything felt well organized and educational, which made it enjoyable for both kids and adults. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and refreshing. This was a memorable experience for our family, and we would definitely recommend La Paz Waterfall Gardens to anyone visiting the area. Only downside is getting there is tough with winding roads and going up mountains.

Worth the long drive! - Great place to start holidays in Costa Rica! Its not a zoo, but a very accessible and rewarding way to see a lot of animals in one day. Takes the pressure off to see them all in the wild before you depart. (You probably wont see the cats anyway). Our highlights: - butterflies unexpectedly - Toucans Main concerns: - getting there - its not far from the airport but takes ages due to mountain roads with serious turns and twists - It is expensive, but in my view a lot better value than actually staying there as a hotel guest which I would argue is not necessary. (Its a very nice buffet included in the day entry price).

Amazing experience and up close interaction with animals and waterfalls! - This was an amazing visit! The interaction with the animals up close was so cool! This was our first activity in CR and certainly recommend it. The staff were amazing, small groups of people, the waterfalls were so big and grand, what a great place!

Great family stopping point - The grounds were beautiful. It was a great last stop on our trip. It was nice to see any local wildlife the kids were able to see out in the wild. The hike down to the falls was beautiful. Delicious coffee and cheese samples. Would definitely recommend if it’s along your route.
