We had a group of 8 and we did the Fort and Knife tour. We had a range of food lovers in our group and every single one of us commented afterwards about how much they enjoyed the food tour. I set up the food tour thinking of my husband's food passion - we were in town for his 40th birthday. Mary Lou was a terrific guide and shared the perfect amount of information. I would highly recommend this tour to the average joe and to the food connoisseur. Thank you!

Excellent tour- knowledgeable and interesting guide. Well chosen venues with great variety. An extremely well-worthwhile activity. Thanks.

Hi. Our guide was very good, giving a lot of information about the food, historical descriptions of the area as well as the latest eateries in the area. All good information and delivered well :) Terroir was excellent and a unique experience. We learned a lot and will be back! Hilary's was good, the cheese offering was only okay. I was hoping to try something new and exciting, but it was kept to a safe selection. the presentation was very nice. The fact that Choux Choux was not available was a big disappointment, but of course, this could not be helped. It is probably and anchor for your tour. The replacement was just a normal cafe offering a half of a breakfast sandwich. La Taquisa is a good enough place for tacos etc., but not really a gourmet experience. It was good, but we have been there for a quick bite several times. Crust was very good for the dessert time. Each of the offerings was tasty and two of the three were interesting. Quite a sugar hit at the end. I did not want to put a review in Tripadvisor since it would not have been great. All the best, Merrie Houghton

We were the only two on this most enjoyable and informative tour. We especially liked visiting Hillary's Cheese and Terroir Tea, where the staff shared a lot of information about the products they were in business to sell. Tour guide Cathryn was a good source of information about Victoria's food scene.

Loved the cheese and tea stops with some history given. Meat shop samples good but very little attention a to history. Would have chosen a different taco place or given us a choice of filing (without letting onto the genre). Not very personable at Crust Bakery. Loved Catherine and her knowledge of the neighbor and city history.
