Well worth it! - This was an incredible experience, we were fortunate enough to see orcas and a humoback whale on our tour. The team onboard were so friendly and knowledgable about the whales, it was an amazing afternoon well spent!

Whale watching from Vancouver - Thank you for making my wifes dreams come true! It was truly an amazing experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to book it. We went on 13th june 8.30am. Wilma was very knowledgeable and extremely professional. Our captain was Anthony and first mate Luke. My wife was the one that got extremely excited because it has been a life long dream to see them. So once again a simple thank you for this amazing experience for us both!

Awesome excursion. - This was well organised. The Captain knew exactly where to go to see whales and the on-board naturalists explained so much particularly what to look for just before whales surfaced. This allowed me to take the most extraordinary photo ever. Was the highlight of our trip to Canada

I loved going with the "Prince of Whales" .Their team is the best! - Going whale watching with the Prince of Whales was one of the best tours I have taken. Whale watching was at the top of my bucket list, and I am thrilled I chose your company to experience this on my first solo trip. I took the half-day tour and saw many Orcas and two Humpbacks; Their names are Whisk and Malamute. The crew was brilliant, and so were the naturalists. They explained the finer nuances of the Humpback and Orcas in a precise and straightforward manner. They were ready to take questions and, at the same time, were stealthily observing the waters and looking out for the whales. All safety norms were explained very clearly, and the bottomless coffee and hot chocolate kept me warm on the cold Salish Sea. I am addicted and would go with "The Prince of Whales "in a heartbeat, the next time I travel to Vancouver. I want to mention the highly professional and wonderful crew members-Roman, Lucas, Petra, Karl and Ashley. Many Thanks for making this one of the best days of my life. Warmly Sumiko M Nanda

Fantastic- skilled knowledgeable crew - Great service throughout. Sat up top by pilots cabin who advised us they were great seats but a windy ride, it was absolutely fine just watch your hat! Amazing whale sightings all around us and some really close . Crew obviously adhere to strict laws around giving wildlife space , switching off engines when close up etc. great commentary. All I’d say is if you want to hear you need to be at the front or the rear of the boat where the Guides are or you won’t hear them. So knowledgeable and knew the whales having their identification cards with them. Saw so many humpbacks , no Orca but to be expected as the whales not usually in the same area if they can help it apparently. Sailed on to a small island where we saw bald eagles and harbor seals . They really tried their best to give us a great wildlife experience which we had. Free tea coffee and hot chocolate- delicious, plus other refreshments available to buy. Onboard toilet 👍Would definitely recommend this trip

I wouldn't do it again - I cannot agree with the many positive reviews. I guess the expectations I had were way too high. I have learned that it is probably normal that you see a whale maybe 2 - 3 times on the whole ride for a few seconds. For me it was just like this - we were at sea for 6 hours and I saw a whale's caudal fin twice for maybe 2 - 3 seconds from about 300 meters away. And if this is the normal case for spending over 160 euros is also just too much . What I didn't know that there are strict laws not to get close to the whales (200 meters minimum distance) unlike in the Baja California where you really see whales up close and also very many - and that's where the trip cost me 90 dollars.

Be Mindful Booking Here - My family and I booked this tour and were denied entry for being only 2 minutes late. The company advises arriving 30 minutes early for parking, but it actually took us over an hour to find a spot near their location. When we called, we were assured they wouldn’t leave us, but upon arrival we were told to “sprint” to the boat and then denied boarding. The most concerning part was when we asked to reschedule—they admitted people often miss the deadline but still refused to rebook us or issue a refund. If you’re considering whale watching, I’d recommend booking with another company or outside of Granville Island to avoid this experience.
