Gripping and Enlightening! - With our Aspire to Action class, we were enlightened to hear about the history of the Gay community, learning about historic buildings like 1930's hotels, which became a safe and fun place for closeted gay men and women. If you're looking for a tour that focuses in on who stood up through hardship, homophobia, and protested and represented their community, if you're eager to know the leaders who stood with them and honoured them for being the crucial change to help those who needed support, come to this tour! This was the most eye-opening, gripping, wonderful tour I will be a part of. I was engaged and enlightened for the entire time. Thank you for your time!

You won't regret this tour - I promise! - Amazing tour! Glenn was very knowledgeable, eloquent speaker, and passionate about the information he was sharing. The tour gave me a much deeper appreciation of Vancouver, and the lgbt pioneers who fought for the rights we have today.

Highly recommended tour. - Glenn is an unbelievable storyteller. We have been coming to Vancouver 2 to 3 times per year for 12 years to visit family and only now decided to try this tour. We learned so much about the history behind places we pass all the time and learned something new about. Glenn seems very passionate about his love of the area and history behind it. He kept us so involved in his stories that the 2 hours were over before we knew it. I recommend it so much that immediately after finishing we booked another Forbidden Tours tour for a few days from now.

Learn and Enjoy - My wife and I enjoyed this tour so much. Glenn was engaging, educational, and a really nice guy. The knowledge and care he puts into his tour is evident in both the prepared part of his tour, as well as his houghtful answers to all of our questions.

Excellent. Don’t hesitate to book this tour! - We had a fantastic time on Glenn’s tour and would highly recommend it. Glenn is truly gifted at what he does and puts a lot of heart and thought into sharing a lesser known history of Vancouver. He has a way of providing the perfect mix of history, storytelling, and personality to keep you engaged. We couldn’t have asked for a better, more memorable experience to take away from our trip.

Very interesting tour - Glenn had a really good knowledge of the history. The pace was good and the stories he told were very interesting. He could be a little more careful about pronoun use for guests and/or gender terminology.
