Your Crete Trip Will Be Incomplete Without This Tour - Your love for olive oil must have brought you to this page and if you're still having second thoughts about booking this tour, my advice to you would be: JUST GO FOR IT! This was one of the best tours we signed up for and it went way beyond just olive oil.
Apostolis knows everything there is to know about the island. He took us to the most breathtaking spots while sharing tonnes of information about the history and rich culture of the island! His love for the island (and olive oil) became immediately clear to us right from the moment we had stepped into the olive oil factory. Not only did we get to taste some of the freshest and most delicious olive oil ever, but Apostolis also had the best surprise in store for us at the end of the tour: olive oil from his own farm!
Thank you, Apostolis...for helping us make some really amazing memories in Crete :) And for all the lovely olive oil, of course! ;)

Beautiful Crete experience - Apostolic was a very knowledgeable guide. Not only included the olive oil factory tour but also other amazing archeological sites. The highlight of the tour was the incredible 3000 years old olive tree with olives!!!

Best excursion I have been on - My wife and I took an olive oil tour but it was so much more. Apostolis our tour guide was incredible and gave us a tour to remember. We saw places in Crete that were off the beaten path and had the tour to ourselves. We were taken to an old fort on a hilltop and explained the history behind it. We then drive to a small olive oil processing plant that was not operational at the time but were guided through all the equipment required from start to finish. Then we were off to a private monastery were two monks resided and offered olives, bread, and some home make liquor. Afterward we drove to see the real 3000 year old olive tree in the middle of a field, it was amazing. We then sat at a little ramada in the middle of olive trees and Apostolis brought his own home grown oilive oil and bread for dipping. While enjoying this special treat a herd of about fifty goats ran past us that were herded by a livestock guard dog. Apostolis was a native of Crete and so knowledgeable about the history of this amazing and peaceful island. There was much more to the tour but these were the highlights. Our best excursion ever. Fabulous tour with Apostolis! - We have just returned from an amazing tour of towns, monasteries, olive 🫒 groves and a working olive oil refinery that included a generous tasting. We were awed by a 3000 year old olive tree, and nourished by lunch at a local taverna. All this and a day filled with new knowledge from our kind, university educated historian guide. We are so grateful to have found him and so sorry he is already booked up during our next free day. There is no better way to see Crete.
