• Valtice - The town is located in the wine-growing region of South Moravia, a few kilometres from Brno, on the border of the Czech Republic and Austria. It is surrounded by vineyards as it is the warmest region in the country. The Wine Salon of the Czech Republic is a permanent tasting exhibition of the best Moravian and Czech wines located in the cellars of Valtice Chateau. The interiors of the castle include 21 rooms furnished in the rococo and baroque styles. There is a sundial on the western and eastern sides of the courtyard. The Baroque Valtice Chateau is the second pearl of the Lednice-Valtice complex, connecting the two chateaux.
