- Monastery of Agios Gerasimos - This monastery is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in Kefalonia, attracting numerous visitors. A small church dedicated to Agios Gerasimos is built above the saint’s tomb and cave. The Saint also planted a plane tree, which still stands at the monastery. On August 16th, the feast day, a grand litany commemorates the saint’s passing, with his sarcophagus paraded and placed under the plane tree. Duration: 90 minutes.
