A great day of experiencing Chile. - This was such a great tour as it not only provided us a great experience in seeing the high lites of Valparaiso it also offered us a great wine tasting of Chile wines. It was also a great way to travel from Santiago to our cruise ship. I would highly recommend this tour.

Delightful tour taking us from Santiago to our cruise ship - Our guide (nicknamed Nacho) did an outstanding job. He was a fount of knowledge, and made a point of sharing special views (such as the Rodin sculpture standing in the center of an informal marketplace around the corner from the Fonck Museum). He and the driver re-arranged the itinerary in real time to minimize the time spent in traffic. The balance of time driving and walking was excellent. He was very sensitive to your participants’ needs, and looked after us very well. He was a very stimulating and amusing guide.

Great way to see the highlights between Santiago and Valparaiso. - Had a wonderful day between Santiago and Valparaiso with many stops in between. We were visiting during the holidays so some things were closed but the tour guides did not miss a beat. Natalia, our guide and Carlos, our driver were on time, super friendly and ensured our safety the entire time. Working with Claudia before the trip to ensure an easy booking with all their recommendations was super helpful. We definitely would recommend working with Chile Vive Tours for future trips.

Wonderful experience. An A plus!!! - We did City Tour with Jaime one day and Valparaiso and wineries with Maria the next. This company also picked us up at the airport and is taking us to San Antonio for a cruise. Excellent!!! Both Jaime and Maria are wonderful guides, knowledgeable, interesting, engaging, caring and fun. I would definitely highly recommend you use this company in Chile and ask for Jaime or Maria as your guide. Also Claudia at the agency was so, so helpful while booking and terrific advance communication and follow up. I found this company through Trip Advisor and so glad I did.

NON-RECOGNITION COSTA FAVOLOSA - NEW YEAR CRUISE COAST FAVOLOSA NOT recommended, unfortunately from the year stopped to this its quality has declined considerably, meals, cabins, staff It's a cruise ship that leaves a big city, Buenos Aires, speaks Spanish 90% of the ship's staff have no idea they speak Spanish or English, so they can say another language. Staterooms lack maintenance in their entirety Meals leave a lot to be desired for anything that is eye-catching for an end-of-year holiday In the dining rooms you are assigned the staff has a number of tables to attend to that surpasses the human being is a tremendous exploitation, the Metres treat their staff very badly. To be served something to drink at the tables you must wait too long, dishes come cold to the table If the boat management really cared about the travelers, they should fix the staffing problem at the tables. In the bars you order a drink and they give you something totally different to those you order since they do not strive to understand the language either Spanish or English To tell if you know a citrus called LIMON anywhere, that's an unknown case on the boat. in general I DO NOT RECOMMEND COSTA CRUISES COSTA FAVOLOSA

Huge disappointment - I booked this tour as it included Vina Del Mar. all was going great at the winery and in Valparaiso. The tour guide was great. The visit to Vina Del Mar was announced at the beginning. We notified the guide the cruise embarkation was delayed by 2 hrs, which played in our favor. After visiting Valparaiso, we hopped in the minivan anticipating visit to Vina Del Mar. But after 15 minutes of driving it became apparent we are going to the port. A couple of people in the group of 9 decided they must be on the ship at 2:30 pm. Others were not asked, not notified, it was not discussed. We were rushed to the port per request of two people. They had no rights to dictate their wish and shorten the tour by one hour. The guide should at least ask opinion of all members of the group.
